The palomino whinnies in pain as the other's hooves strike exactly on the mark, tearing painful gashes in his front from which lifeblood swiftly seeps. Rearing instinctively and therefore releasing the grip he had on Kamani's ear, he strikes out with his hooves at the bay's head, seeing as it is still in a vulnerable position.
