Subject: NFR fantasy rules
As promised, here are the rules for the fantasy NFR game. Get your teams picked by Tuesday, December 1. You can find the world standings on the PRCA website. As usual, let me know if you have questions.
1. You must pick one contestant from each of the eight events (Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc, Tie down Roping, Team Roping Header, Team Roping Heeler, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding) at the NFR. The contestant’s place in the World Standings in the event going into the NFR will be used to calculate the Total World Standing of your team. The World Standing of your team must equal or exceed 60 points.
2. There will be no substitutions during the event, however, if you pick a contestant who is unable to compete at the first round, then the next lowest competitor in the standings will be substituted by the scorekeepers.
3. Scoring for all events:
a. Your team receives 1 point for each time or qualified ride.
b. Go round points are awarded for 6 places. First = 6 points, second = 5 points, down to 6th = 1 point.
c. Average points are awarded for 6 places. First = 12 points, second = 10 points, down to 6th = 2 points.
d. Points are awarded for finishing in the top 5 in the World. First = 15 points, second = 12 points, down to 5th = 3 points.
4. Pick a team and cheer them on!!!

Looks like you can't find the barrel racers on the PRCA list of contestants. So here they are: 1. Pozzi, 2. Sears, 3. Mary Burger, 4. Fox, 5. Peterson, 6. Mays, 7. Lockhart, 8. Cervi, 9. Moseley, 10. Robbins, 11. Fischer, 12. Smith, 13. Campbell, 14. Morgan and 15 P.J. Burger.
Hope you can find the rest without too much trouble.

allright! Here we go. Past years have had me putting much thought into my teams and not getting very far. So this year I'm hoping to do the opposite. Might come back and bite me in the backside, but it's all for fun.
