Subject: Saginaw Results

1. Matt Bohon 84+90=174
2. Jordan Hupp 85.5+87.5=173
3. Chance Riley 86+86=172
4.Nick Landreneau 89.5+82=171.5
4. Dusty LaBeth 84+87.5=171.5

Not sure who else placed in the average but you had to ride 2 to place and Havre Stewart was like 164 on 2 and didn't even place. They rode lots of bulls. Rocky Johnson was 89 to win 2nd in the long round, Francisco Moraeles was 88 for 3rd in the round and Colby Yates was 87.5 for 4th in the round. Really an outstanding event and congrats to Matt for getting a much needed win. Other notable cowboys competing included Chance Roberts (who was entered twice on friday) Craig Sasse (who placed around 6th in the average), Robson Aragao (who was DQ'd for hooking his knots & sure needed to be from where I was standing), and local favorites like Bump Postlewait, Danny Drown, Shane Rickly (who nearly won the IPRA last year), Tim Muxlow and Nic Lica (who I believe they said was a 2 or 3 time Michigan High school champion). There weren't many injuries, Lucas Guilbeau tweaked his elbow friday night but was able to compete saturday (and started a really good ride to be in the high 80's in my opinion, just came down a little quick), one Canadian who apppeared to seperate his shoulder and Shane Kenney (the bullfighter) who took a really hard shot late saturday night but appeared to be fine.

I hope y'all are enjoying my updates. I'll try to keep 'em coming if and when I have internet access.

Bulfighters were Shane Kenney, and (I think) Thomas Alamont. Ryan Litwill was the funnyman, Terry Starnes announced (it was good to see him again) Jerry Downey judged along with Kelcey Salisbury (hope I spelled it right that time), Mark Reed was the arena director and had bulls there, and Marvin Wycuff did a great job in the production role for Jerry Nelson. Really a well run event and I hope that it continues to be an annual stop on the tour.

Sure do like to see your posts here about the Touring Pro events. Don't know why but the PBR site always seems to be real slow to post those event results. Hope you keep up whenever you get the time. Thanks.
