我用的"辭海"是上海辭書出版社的,見它印上"本書榮獲國家圖書獎"才由北京買回來.
以杜甫為例,因為古人的字往往跟名有關,杜甫,字子美,名和字都作美男解,當甫作這解釋時讀'府',我用了"辭海"的普通話音標,因為專欄空間有限,這比用中文佔位少.甫字在讀音不同時顯示意思不同,今日應否再混淆為'普'?要是杜甫發音要追溯唐代讀音,其他字應否一樣陪它讀唐音?我好奇唐代人如何唸出樂府,痛苦,俯伏等.
現在讀古醫書,學已死的古字都是以普通話發音,我都知廣府話保存最多古字讀音,但整天在傳媒聽到錯音看到錯字,有時教學生都怕自己讀音不正確。
希望有識之士多向傳媒反映意見,同時歡迎在此討論指正.　:)
