那麼，何以華人讀者對幾米的作品過譽呢？關麗珊正點出了原因：就是香港人不會主動吸引外國文化，還以為是我們自己的原創。幾米當然可以吸收前人的思想、意念，但如果他的作品仍未能跳出前人的框框，顯示他自己的才能，則關麗珊的批評仍然正確合理。
華人讀者對幾米的作品實在過譽了！
