Okay, no offence to anyone, but I think Anger misunderstood the concepts of psychology and the underlying theories behind it. What you written is only a very small part of psychology and is not very correct.

However I do agree that not all literatures is a projection/reflection of the author’s experience or life. Most of what they wrote are not direct experiences, but experiences gather from many different sources. Although I don’t have a great deal of knowledge in literature, from what I’ve learnt, we can only say that the writing reflects the society at time, the way of living, its culture and the ideas the author wants to put forward in his/her writing, not what they experienced. If in 100 years time people want to study Patsy’s work, they can only use the writings to infer the society the author was in and not what the author actually experienced in her real life.

But of course, some authors actually uses their real life experiences in the first few novels of theirs (e.g. 瓊瑤’s first few books was partly her 'mini' autobiography, but some parts of the novel are still fiction). If every author puts all of their experiences in their novels, we wouldn’t have so many great literature. We have to remember that not every author lives such a dramatic life as the characters in the novels.
