Happy Days!

Just wanted to give a 'Big Up' to the players, coaches and committee of ARFC for their excellent recent results and performances - it's lovely to see it. The team must be in good nick to get a win (and a convincing one at that) at a place like Bettws and with all the on field problems on the day. I had doubted their ability (sorry!) to win crunch games but it seems that the boys have put that behind them - now for the big one this weekend, one more MASSIVE effort and they will really be in the mix.

Big up also to the committee for their excellent support and enthusiasm - speaking from experience support like that goes a long way and is, again, fantastic to see. We - the cricket boys - won the league and cup double (for the first time ever) a few years ago and we were hard pressed to get a 'Well done' out of our committee!

So again well done to everyone from Bling from ATCC - well done to the players, coaches, supporters and committee for creating such a feel good atmosphere and long may it continue in the years to come.

All the best on Saturday - I was even tempted to give up my golf for a weekend to come and watch the boys - give 'em what for fellas!

Great to have good wishes from other teams in the Town. Its about time that we support each other, we have enough trouble from outside sources without back-biting within the Town. Next on the agenda is to get the support back on the terraces and increase the interest back in the locality. We need to stop the couch potato syndrome and get back into the real world. - Can definitely support that - recent games have been every bit as enjoyable as watching Aber in higher divisions. Good standard of rugby and boys who enjoy themselves and seem to enjoy being part of the club. Its a pleasure to visit the Park and the clubhouse these days.
