Tonight i watched the Gwent Dragons under eighteens down at Abergavenny against their Blues counterparts. the game was supposed to be played at Cardiff but the ground was waterlogged, so an alternative ground was saught. the dragons comittee approached Blaenau Gwent council to see if they could use Abertillery park.The council agreed it was playable but to my astonishment i heared that Abertillery BG comittee refused the use of the floodlights. iam apalled to hear this as a keen rugby enthusiast what are these people up to they say they want to support youth rugby in the town and then they come up with this crackpot descision.the Dragons are due to play more rugby to the town ,but iwould not be surprised if they took their trade elsewhere the dinosaurs that are ABGRFC deserve no better.Wake up to the real world you are mid table division five not the Ospreys.
