Recipes
Seagull Stew
Ingredients
1 seagull
2 potatoes
2 carrots
1 cabbage
Water
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
1) Peel the potatoes and carrots
2) Slice the carrots into rings, chop the potatoes into blocks and rip off cabbage leaves.
3) Take your seagull, and if it is not dead yet, kill it without dirtying it. You may wish to chop off its head.
4) Skin and pluck the seagull.
5) Cut the edible areas of the seagull into small chunks.
6) Build the fire under the boiling-oven and leave it to heat.
7) Get a small, sturdy cauldron and fill it with water. Place it in the boiling-oven til it boils.
8) When the water is boiled, add the chunks of seagull meat, the carrots, the potatoes and the cabbage leaves.
9) Flavour it with salt and pepper.
10) Weaken the fire a little and wait for an hour.
11) Take the cauldron out of the oven, and serve.
Note: Serves two.

Trout 'n' Taters
Ingredients
1 potato
1 carrot
1 freshwater trout
Water
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
1) Peel the potato.
2) Slice the potato into small chunks.
3) Peel the carrot.
4) Slice the carrot into rings.
5) Take two small pots of water and put them into the boiling-oven.
6) Add salt to the water in both pots.
7) Light a fire under the boiling-oven.
8) While the water boils, wash the trout.
9) Once the water is boiling, put the trout (whole) in one pot. Put the lid on.
10) Wait for about 10 minutes. Then put the carrots in the other pot.
11) Add the potatoes to the carrots pot after 3 minutes.
12) After a minute or two, stab the potatoes and carrots with a fork and see if the potatoes and carrots are soft enough to be eaten. If they are, take the pot out and leave to cool.
13) Take the trout out of the boiling oven and leave to cool.
14) Dump the carrots and potatoes onto a plate, and then the trout.
15) Now serve.

Ballog's Blurbringing Beer - Drunk's Drink
Ingredients
1 sour apple
2 tbsp honey
1 jug water
10 premature cherries
1 bulb garlic
1 ear worth of corn
Instructions
1) Chop up the garlic into tiny pieces and put in a bowl.
2) Take out the seeds and stems of the cherries. Add to the bowl.
3) Add the corn to the bowl, and mash and mix everything together.
4) Slice the apple into tiny pieces, maybe a little bigger than the garlic, and then add to the bowl.
5) Add the honey in and stir well.
6) Pour in the jug of water and mix, stir, mix again. Make sure you mix very well.
7) Leave the lot in the sun for a day.
8) Put the brothy stuff that you get in a jug and serve to drunkards.
