Apple Cider - Well, at least, I call it Apple Cider. It tastes more like burnt pancake, anyhoo.

Slice an apple into wafer-thin strips. Boil slices in water. Add a touch of cinnemon and sugar to the mixture as it's cooking.
Once apple slices are soft or at the verge of burning, pull them out of the water. Stick them in a cup.
Add cream/vanilla ice cream and milk. Or scrap the milk and use lemonade instead to make a JessieAppleWeirdSpider.

P.s. *Waves at Oakfang.* Actually, the bread recipe does work. Usually, anyway. But I would love to see your version of making bread - why don't you post up the recipe here? ^.^

Honeycream tart

You'll need:
- a bowl full of fresh honeycream
- assorted berries (raspberries taste best)
- tart crusts
- several hungry creatures!

First, clean the berries thoroughly, and cut off any stems and seeds. Take these berries and divide them evenly in the tart crusts. Once the berries are in each crust, spread the honeycream evenly over the tops of the tarts. When all of the cream is gone place the tarts on a baking pan and place them in the oven for about 15 minutes. Now you'll need several hungry creatures before they get cold!

Almond n' Apple Delight

You'll need:
- a sackful of almonds
- one freshly picked apple
- a bowl of meadowcream
- one pawful of cinnamon
- baking pan

First, sliced the apple into thin slices and spread them evenly in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon lightly over the apple slices. Next spread all of the meadowcream over the apple layer. Now cut the almonds into very pecies

1 cup warm water
3 cups flour
20 oz oil
20 oz brown sugar
20 oz warm water
1 teaspoon salt
5 teaspoons yeast

First pour in the water, then the oil. Swish around so oilo greases the tin. Add sugar and salt. Add flour. Then, so it doesn't touch the water, add yeast on top of the flour. Bake roughly for about 30 minutes to an hour, at 400 to 450 degrees.

To tell you the truth, I usually just poke it occasionally and hope for the best... Sometimes it burns, sometimes it remains a doughy mess. ^.^

Milky Oats (or my name, Oaky Milks):
There's no certain amount of ingridients needed. Make it up as you go along (some prefere more milk, some prefere less).
For a quick breakfast, if you've run out of cereal, haven't got time to make porridge, and hate toast, then this is for you! Take some oats - about two handfulls or more - a bowl, some sugar - white or brown. You need more if you're using white - and milk. Pour the milk and oats together, mix them well, then add as much sugar as you want. Should only be a few minutes to make, and you can chop up a banana and add ice cream if you want.

Sage Tea:
Ingredients:
1/2 oz fresh sage leaves
1 oz fine sugar
1/4 oz grated lemon rind
Juice from one lemon
1 quart of boiling water.

Keep water at a simmer, and add the ingredients. Steep for 30 minutes. Strain out the herbs and serve hot or iced.

Syrup:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar

Place the water and sugar in a pot. Boil the ingredients and wait for sugar to dissolve .

To add flavoring, the correct time is before the water comes to a boil. A few suggestions for flavored syrups: exchanging orange juice for water will yield an orange flavored syrup, watermelon juice will yield a watermelon flavored syrup, etc.
Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Chilli bread:
Intergral Bread.
Sweet Chilli Thai sauce.
Take a bowl and feel it with chilli sauce. Cut the intergral bread into strips, and dip it into the Chilli. Goes best with ice tea.

On one of my birthdays, I wanted some of the food to be Strawberry-themed. Here's some of the recipes I dug up:

Strawberry Pie:
1 cup water
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled

~~~~
DIRECTIONS:
In a saucepan, combine water, white sugar, salt, cornstarch and food coloring. Bring to a boil, and cook for about 5 minutes or until thickened. Set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
In a large bowl, combine flour, margarine, confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Mix well and press into a 9 inch pie pan. Prick all over and bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
When crust is cool, place berries in the shell, and pour the thickened mixture over the top.
Strawberry tart:
For the crust.
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup rice flour
1 tablespoon Sucanat
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons oil
Plain yogurt as needed (2-3 tablespoons)
FILLING
1/4 cup strawberry jam
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 pints hulled strawberries
One step crust: Combine all the crust ingredients in a bowl. Add enough yogurt until the dough isn't too stiff. Grease a baking sheet, and press the crust onto the pan in a circle shape, patting it down until the crust is even. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 oven, or until firm and golden. Cool. One-step filling: Heat the strawberry jam until it is softened, stir in the vanilla, and spread in a thin layer over the top of the crust, leaving out a few tablespoons. Cover the crust with strawberries. Drizzle remaining jam liquid over the strawberries.
Strawberry Jam: (I caused havoc trying to make this!)
2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled
4 cups white sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
~~~~
Directions:
In a wide bowl, crush strawberries in batches until you have 4 cups of mashed berry. In a heavy bottomed saucepan, mix together the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to high, and bring the mixture to a full rolling boil. Boil, stirring often, until the mixture reaches 105 degrees C. Transfer to hot sterile jars, leaving 1/4 to 1/2 inch headspace, and seal. Process any unsealed jars in a water bath. If the jam is going to be eaten right away, don't bother with processing, and just refrigerate.

And I know this isn't strawberry, but...
Blueberry Scones:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup heavy cream plus additional; for brushing scones
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar plus additional; for sprinkling scones
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon double acting baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons unsalted butter; cold, cut into bits
3/4 cup blueberries; picked over

Directions:
In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of the cream, the egg, and the vanilla. Into a bowl sift together the flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the butter and blend the mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Gently stir in the blueberries and add the cream mixture with a fork until the mixture forms a sticky but manageable dough. Knead the dough gently on a lightly floured surface for 30 seconds, pat it into a 3/4-inch-thick round, and cut out 12 wedges or, using a 3-inch cutter, cut out rounds. Transfer the wedges to a lightly greased baking sheet, brush them with the additional cream, and sprinkle them with the additional sugar. Bake the scones in the middle of a preheated 400 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until they are golden.

This is a recipe for strawberry scones.

Ingrediants(sp):
1/3 cup Granulated sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup Butter; cold -- cut up
1 cup Buttermilk
Cinnamon sugar
Tree cups Flour
1 cup strawberries with sauce

Preparation:
Preheat oven or whatever you are using. Next add sugar, butter, flour, and the eggs. Stir until is is all lumpy and mixed. Next add the buttermilk and stir. Form the scones into triangulated shapes and place on a pan. Cook for about 10 minutes. Take the scones out (with an elder). I am pretty sure you the spread the cinnamon sugar and the strawberries over them until it oozes over. You can then enjoy them hot or cold as they taste good both ways. Also if they cook to long they form great weapons. Anyway they taste good---
