Ingredients (to serve 4)
4 medium sized baking apples
4 large tablespoons of honey
2oz (50g) of dried friut
a little butter

Wash and core apples, do not peel them. Stand the apples in a well buttered oven dish. Pour warm honey into the cavity until it runs over a little on the sides of each apple.
Pour water around the apples (about a quater of a pint).
Bake at the bottom of the oven for 25 to 30 mins at 180oC.
Serve hot with custard or cream.
