I found the copy of the supplement from the beginning of the Franconia College when Dow academy was reorganized as a two year college.
while there is plenty of info in this there is no formal mention of the friends of Franconia College as it really did not yet exist.
However both the people who bought advertisements to support the printing , the Alumni and board of Dow and the local people who supported bot Dow and the upcoming College are most likely the people who became the "Friends" .
Reread a lot of it and one article was asking for people to donate to the funding of the college which needed some things done to accommodate the intended college and the changes from Dow Academy like a fund for creation of a dorm since the initial class was to have living space only for the female students with male students being either day students or accommodated by local homes as space became available.
There was also a need to develop a fund for the president since to obtain state funding and certification a president needed to be chosen and paid and I believe they were also thinking of the funding for the faculty which they were looking to hire as an exceptional group of instructors to ensure the highest degree of educational standards. FC was to become the second two year college In the state and at the time this was taking place the Forest Hills hotel was being run by the university. The former owner was one of the supporters as was Frost and a number of prominent former Dow academy grads including at least one former governor and the owners and operators of most of the local businesses .

I know that the Franconia historical society or one of the other such organizations in town has a copy of this journal size supplement probably in better condition than mine though mine is fine just beginning to show the ravages of time as usual for the kind of paper used back then.
If necessary I can list some names to check out that might not be as commonly known as the people who were still associated with the college from the beginning to the end or lived locally.
