Tony was a gem a real nice guy.
I hung out with him a lot while he was recovering from the skiing accident. We both were car nuts and he had that great poncho pony car that was a bear on new england roads.
He liked the fact that the VW could be driven full flat out under most conditions and not be that dangerous if you knew what you were doing but his real driving knowledge came out when he was behind the wheel of the Firebird after he was recovered.
I met his mom and we talked about another Bill Manser that supposedly had been in franconioa just before I got there who was of German background ( n most likely not related but a vague possabillity ) that she knew whom I think was living in the rentrals by the gale down toward the bank branch where so many FC students found a crib in later years.
Tony was a lot of fun and except for the two pins that they decided not to take out he had a full recovery from the Cannon mt accident. Wonder where he is now ?.
