Subject: Grand Oil Party....
In reply to: morgan 's message, "Re: Trapper John sez:" on 15:05:13 08/29/08 Fri

The Grand Oil Party besides trying to make a desparate bid to save the corrupt Ted Stevens and the ethically suspect Don Young also viewed Palin as means
of playing the oil card. Palin is unbashedly pro-
oil and the environment be damned. As a global warming
denier, she is strongly opposed to any effort to protect
wildlife affected by global warming such as polar bears.

To wit:

This month, the secretary of the interior is expected to rule on whether polar bears should be listed under the Endangered Species Act. I strongly believe that adding them to the list is the wrong move at this time. My decision is based on a comprehensive review by state wildlife officials of scientific information from a broad range of climate, ice and polar bear experts.

No friend of wildlife, but also a loyal member of the
National Rifle Association she supports the brutal shooting
of wolves by helicopter-borne hunters. Apparently she has
personally participated in this insanity by shooting some
wolves herself from a helicopter.

But perhaps the repugliacs think that this will make her
appealing to the pro-gunner types who think having
a veep that has left a trail of dead polar bears and wolves
in her wake is certainly the right stuff.

While McSame is certainly no friend of the environment or
wildlife either, he picked a running mate that advocates
the wholesale destruction of both in the name of cheap
oil.

....Fred
