Some of you may have seen this pitch on Facebook. The response from Franconians - with a couple of exceptions, God Bless them - has been underwhelming. Other folks have been more forthcoming and I have about half the funds needed to make this project go. Here's another chance to redeem yourselves as a group and help stop the rape of Southern Appalachia.....

Dear Friend of the Earth,
Mountain top removal mining may be the most egregious form of vandalism mankind has unleashed on this planet. It has destroyed half a million acres in West Virginia alone, and buried 1,200 miles of streams beneath mining rubble. And its going on right now, even as you read this.
That's why I am sending you the link to my page on Kickstarter and asking you to read it thoughtfully and donate as much as you can.You can donate on the website.
