Archival footage has shown me that interesting sports history was made during my time at Franconia College but I never paid any attention at the time.
I followed sports before I went to school and after I left school. (I am now saddled with the misery of being a Mets fan.)
More ironic, was that during my time studying theater at Franconia I paid no attention to the landmark shows that opened on and off-Broadway.
I returned to New York in time to see "A Chorus Line" and my interest was rekindled. I wonder if following sports or theater during the Viet Nam War seemed too frivolous or if I was just to busy at Franconia trying to contact a venereal disease.
