Yup we sure did.
If Morgans website was still available I could point you to one of the newspapers that talks about one we had in 68 I think on the war and the admoinistration as well as some that were called for other reasons like support of the faculty and so forth.

Would need to dig out the copies but think there were regular articles on what was discussed and decided.

Not all people attended and not all people were interested and the notice of community meetings might get overlooked so people missed many and other students were more interested in other things from their own academic program to more recreational pursuits.
I did attend many but not all of them while I was there. Though sometimes I was working in the print shop and some times the subject was of no interest. other times I was very interested in what was being discussed and decided.

Seems I remember attending the one on dogs in the main building and running free on campus. The objection was on sanitary grounds as many dog owners were not cleaning up after their pets.
Don't remember if they were outlawwed and people ignored the ban or if they went on probation.... The dogs I mean not the students who owned them.
