I went to kindergarden in New Rochelle. A red-headed Franconia student named Arthur (I can't remember his last name) turned out was also in that kindergarden class (Jefferson School on Weyman Avenue) in the mid 1950's.
I went to high school in New Jersey across from Manhattan and never ran into any high school classmates in New York City but traveling to northern New Hampshire was full of "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" at every turn.
