Subject: FC 1967 ?~ Moose , Solly & Pistachios

I have no idea what made me think of Franconia...It's been at least a life and more since I've really given those crazy times a thought. I remember we lived in two different houses~ one out of town and near Bridal Veil Falls, one in the village... I remember "Moose" , with fingers stained in red from his pistachio habit. (And when I found out I was pregnant, that he suggested "Matthew Aaron"as a most appropriate name.) Solly~ a sweet Brazilian ( as I recall) boy who's dad sent him $$$ and who bought food for our house...~ Filling a car with people for a "Country Joe & the Fish" concert @ Dartmouth~ I remember the smells and sounds better than I can recall faces and names. We were from Maine. We were Brian & Jane. I wrote papers for $10 to help my friends get by.... How I loved the licorice twigs from the village market...Anyone out there remember me? Jane
