The uranium oxide was thought to have been shipped to the Oak Ridge national laboratory. What was done with it has never been made public. The crated Me262 fighter was sent to Wright-Paterson AFB and probably used for parts for the collection of captured German aircraft they had there. The Japanese were anxious to deploy jet fighters because their piston engine fighters were ineffective against the B-29's that were laying waste to many Japanese cities.
