Not all that uncommon back then as I remember it.
There were even support groups for the frequent travelers on that route and a few regulars who seemed to go way far out from time to time.
Wasn't Katy Simms doing one ons with a few people for that or am I getting her confused with someone else ?

Frank I remember the paint job so must have been in your room at least once after you did that.

Funny thing is it became something of a trend in NYC apartments in lofts to do something similar for a while with all sorts of bright and obvious colors used on the exposed pipes and other infrastructure as a statement of modern industrialism I think... Were you the original trend setter I wonder and did someone have a falshback that began the trend in the Big Apple ..... %^)
