Speaking as a first-time grandparent of two and a half years standing, (Carol's son, my stepson, Tom and his wife Kristy have a beautiful daughter born August '06) you're in for a treat.

Watching your children flower as they take on the responsibilities of adult life and expand their love to encompass a child, and watching that next generation come gradually into its own is an incredible delight.

Regards to you, Diane and to Trib. Hallelujah! It's a wonderful act of courage, hope and trust to choose to bring a child (and grandchild) into this world.
