Didn't manage to make it to the PO today myself, problem with the water company that needed too much attention, lost half a day.

Michaels favorite song Smile by Charlie Chaplin sung in tribute at the memorial service ( which I could not watch being busy during but caught some of the after coverage and the very beginning ).

I think that people will be realizing all the different things MJ influenced during his career and much too short lifetime. He was so very versatile and talented in so many different areas and people who didn't know him personally are just beginning to find out about the private MJ as opposed to the one that was out there and either praised or condemned as the case may be.
We will not miss the music it is there forever, we will not miss the memories.
What we will miss is when he reinvented himself and came out again with new things and new music and made the world sit up and take notice, something he did on many occasions.

Like so many others who died too young with more potential ahead of them he will be missed even by his detractors.

It would have been nice to have heard what he was working on and see how it was recieved and then to have sen the next level come again. That won't happen now though the rumor is that the music he had for the tour and some others that had not been released will most likely come out in the future.
It would be interesting if there is a large supply waiting to be released. Though there will be no Michael to perform it it would be something like Picasso salting away a lifetimes artwork to be released slowly over the years after his death . I would not be surprised if he did something like that.
