... but I'm all for contributing the left-over reunion money to the Fund, and starting over again for the next reunion. If we really have the collective will to do this, I'm sure we can raise the money for the reunion as easily next time as we did last time.

As far as the Scholarship Fund is concerned - I think we need to keep up the drumbeat - on the internet is the cheapest way and has proved to be very effective - ask Obama and many others who've raised large sums from willing donors at very low cost.

I see the point of your "piece of paper" - but it's possible to attach a .pdf file - that anyone can download and print out - for those who want that written, tangible prod.

Maybe we need to set up a revolving committee - twelve might be a good number - to write a short essay each month to post to the various virtual gathering places to ask "Have you made a contribution this month? this year?" Done in a variety of voices, from a variety of points of view, by folks from a variety of eras of the school's history, I don't think I'd find it annoying or offensive - just a friendly reminder, like that piece of paper in the pile, to which, if I was feeling particularly flush in a certain month or week, I might respond.

Just my two cents - as the Dawg likes to say, your mileage may vary...
