Subject: Use of Tri-bikes in TT's that follow USCF rules

I just came accross this web site and read the bit about the Southern California Time Trial Cup. I'd love to get involved, both as a training aid, and just for fun. I used to bike race and do triahtlons, after 10 years off for school/training, I'm getting back into it now, but plan on mainly doing triathlons due to time constraints. I have a rather inexpensive road bike, and a nice, steep seat angle tri-bike that I love.

I'd love to ride my tri-bike in these time trials for the training aspect. Several of the races listed have the usual statement 'all USCF rules apply', which I presume means my bike is illegal (my seat sits about 1cm behind the BB spindle). I don't care about awards, points, or anything like that, but would love to ride. I was wondering if I'd be allowed to ride, or if I'd have to use my road bike.

Thanks.

Scott
