Jack, You are 100% correct about getting people to work on the track. Everyone wants to come out and race, and are quick to complain when something doesn't go their way, but you never see them picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms, or watering the track. I wish that we lived closer so that we could be more involved. Garden City has the nicest track that I have ever raced at.
I hate it that Dave, Justin, Jason, you, Mike and the others work every week to give us a nice track to race on and don't even get a thank you or good job, but when something goes wrong all of ya'll are the first ones to get griped at.
This is the second year that the President has spent all free time getting the track ready and didn't have a car ready to race when season started.
As far as running the 14th that was sceduled off so that the ones that wanted to could make the big show in ILL.
It seams that every time Garden tries to work with another track it is always screwed up. Garden should set their schedule and leave certain dates open. If any track wants to run than so be it, if not it is a off week. I know that it screwed up our schedules when the dates were changed around.
