But that's not the point.
This era just wants to race when they want, be paid cash, then leave and bitch all week. Fact is, more is spent on the tracks to keep them alive than on cars and more hours are needed to prep a track, mow, sign in, line up, score, flag, clean up and arrange insurance, EMS, and unseen work than set up cars weekly or write an offensive email.
When no one supports their track, there is no place to race. Switching from national affiliation, whether you liked the affiliation or not for what folks perceive as a commercial track, failed to take into account that Airport is not a commercial track. It's not obviously a club run entity either. Support for a track takes people, money and a place, whether for points or cash.
Racin comes after the others are in place. Seems all there is left is the place. You have been basically given a very expensive place, likely the best in the nation. See y'all at a parade............... maybe.
