After finding that her chances of developing Alzheimer's disease are 50-99%, Janet obviously has an alarming insight into her future. With these results, however, Janet and her family can prepare for the possible onset of the disease. While she is healthy, Janet might want to spend her time looking into gene therapy or studies that may help her in the future. She and her family may want to support Alzheimer's research funds in order to help those who may have the disease in the future. Janet will also have time to emotionally prepare for having the disease. She might want to work with therapists or genetic couselors to help her through dealing with this issue.
