Even though I responded to Question 1, I did not think of the fact that Janet's genetic test would cause her children to think about the fact that they might pass on the disease to their children. Even though it is a horrible position to be put in at such a young age, Janet's children may want to consider adoption when they are old enough to have a family of their own, as to not pass on the trait. I thought that this was a very good insight on Devon's part, and I now agree that Janet's genetic test has the ability to transend generatons.
