I can buy vampires and demons and evil gods with nice feet but I just do not see how Buffy ever scored a 1430 on her SAT's (see conversation in Lovers Walk). Now Buffy is smart but the SAT's are not a test of intelligence but rather a test of vocabulary, math etc (in short a test of some of what you were supposed to have learned in high school). Buffy never struck me as much of a student - no evidence of a love for the written word (her vocabulary was often the source of humor and anyone who thought the boy stuck his finger in a duck vice dike is verging on illiterate)and no obvious skill in math so just how did she score so high? The plot required it as Buffy needed to get into UC Sunnydale and the UC schools are difficult to get into. Certainly Buffy's grades were not that good. I would have preferred some sort of spell cast on the director of admissions to explain Buffy's acceptance.
