Blaise watched out of the corner of his eye as Frederick tried to comfort Angharad. He was very tempted to give Einar a little extra rein, but he decided against it. He didn't want to disturb the girl. Best to keep his horse civil... for the moment. He was even more tempted, however, to cut the hand off the knight. He wasn't sure just why, but part of him screamed that Frederick had no right to lay a finger on the girl. It wasn't like he meant her any harm. But Blaise didn't like it. Angharad hugged Einar's neck, and Blaise turned his face full to the knight. He scowled at the knight, and glared. He faced forward again. He let his pace slacken just enough to bring himself even with the girl. He murmured, just loud enough for her to hear, "Weep the pain away. Just let it go. Don't bottle it up. Never bottle it up. Just cry as long as you can, and afterwards you'll be able to live again. It's the only way that works." He patted her head gently before striding back to his position in front of Einar. He'd passed on what he knew. She didn't need anything more at the moment.
