Blaise allowed Einar free rein as he wandered the streets of Rhonde. It was a bad neighborhood, and he was ready. His left hand rested on the hilt of his shortsword. There seemed to be a congregation of people around a carriage. He heard a girl's cry for help and spurred Einar to a gallop. The problem was evident. The rough-looking man had been harassing the girl, and she'd run to a nearby knight for help.

"Knights," he thought disdainfully. "He'll tell the man off and send him on his way." He spat on the ground in distaste. Nobles didn't know how to deal with the lower classes, there was only one way to teach the miscreant a lesson that he'd remember.

He dismounted and approached the man who was picking himself up off of the ground. He lifted his left arm, sword in hand, to the man's throat. With two flicks of his wrist, he gave the man cuts that would leave his face scarred for life. "That was a warning," he informed the man. "If I catch you at that again, your life is forfeit."

He watched as the man ran off, and approached the crowd around the carriage to see what was going on.
