First of all, while I've seen very little of Japanese wrestling, I certainly don't "mark out" for "yank" wrestling. I can certainly acknowledge that All Japan (at least before it was decimated) and New Japan put on matches that psychologically and action-wise prove our matches to be shit.

Secondly, my point was not that Mutoh isn't a good worker but that he generally leaves behind that workrate coming to America. In '97 and '99 visits, he looked absolutely dismal. Maybe he got the idea from Bill Watts. (Legend has it that at Starrcade '92, Watts instructed Mutoh and Masahiro Chono to "dog it" so as not to overshadow the WCW workers).
