Willow are you alright?
Willow turns around to face them. Her eyes are blood-red and she has a cold expression.
WILLOW *smiles*
Better than ever

The whole gang is looking at Willow with a mix of fear and confusion. It is clear that something is wrong,
but what exactly... they do not know.
XANDER
Will..... what's wrong with your eyes?
WILLOW *cold*
Nothing
DAWN
Willow, your eyes are like... completely red.... That can't be good.
WILLOW *smiles*
Oh, but it *is* good.
Xander realizes that something is wrong. He steps forward with an angry expression.
XANDER
What are you and what did you do with Willow?
WILLOW
Are you suggesting I'm *not* Willow?
KENNEDY
*Are* you?
We can see from the expression on her face that she is afraid of the answer.
WILLOW
I guess that all depends on how you look at it.
The entire gang draws their weapons as if instructed.
WILLOW *laugs*
What? You're gonna kill your precious friend? We think not.
The gang keeps pointing their weapons at Willow but none of them attack.
WILLOW *smiles*
See? We'll be on our way now.... see you soon.
Willow uses her ability to travel airborne and disappears into thin air, leaving the rest of the gang dumbfounded.
DAWN *sad*
This cannot be good
Xander gives Dawn a look.
DAWN *sad smile*
But I guess that's obvious
ANDREW *scared*
Did she just say "see you soon"? I didn't like the sound of that
KENNEDY
What could do this to her?
ANDREW *scared*
facing Darth Rosenberg once, was enough....
KENNEDY
She's one of the most powerful witches in the world.
ANDREW
...more than enough.
GILES *shouts*
Alright, shut up, both of you.
Everyone stops talking and stares at Giles, surprised by his sudden outburst.
GILES *calm*
Sorry.... we need to find out what happened. This isn't helping.
XANDER
She kept referring to herself as We. "We think not" and "We'll see you soon"
GILES *remembers*
Yes, you're right. That's important
DAWN
So you're saying something took control of Willow? We kinda got that
GILES
Not just that. It also means that Willow is still in there somewhere
ANDREW
Yes, *or* whatever took control over her said that to make sure we wouldn't kill it..... and what
about the possibility that Willow just went crazy again and just said that to throw us off.
KENNEDY *angry*
*That* is *not* a possibility!
ANDREW
And how do *you* know that? I was in the line of fire the last time, you weren't! If you had been
there.....
XANDER
Guys, this isn't helping. Let's get out of here and do some research.
GILES
Let's head for the Magic Box
They all walk down the Bluff, headed for the Magic Box. Kennedy, Dawn and Andrew walk almost twenty feet ahead of
Xander and Giles.
XANDER *to Giles*
Do *you* think Willow's gone crazy?
GILES *resolute*
No. There is something inside her.... something evil.
XANDER *smiles*

We suddenly find ourselves inside an ancient temple. Everything around us is white. There is a big empty space
in the center of the temple where Willow is busy kissing with someone whose face we can't see. They are lying on
the floor wearing white robes. There are roseleaves on the floor where they are layed down.
Willow withdraws from the other persons lips.
WILLOW
I missed you so much
The camera turns around and we see that the other person is Tara.
TARA
Don't worry sweetie. I'm here.
They start kissing again. Moments later, the camera shows the temple from the outside. There is a huge fence around
it, the sky is dark and everything around the temple looks dead or dying.
The camera zooms out....... and further out........ and further out, until we zoom out of Willow's head.
her eyes are still red and she smiles wickedly.

GILES
Research.... as usual. Look for entities that can take posession of a person and are recognisible
by their red eyes.
DAWN

Dawn and Andrew walk over to the booksheft and search for useful books.
XANDER
Nobody probably wants to hear this...... but what do we do if Willow comes here to kill us? I
mean, if something took control of her body, killing everyone she knows is a logical first step
to gain more control over her.
KENNEDY
You're right... I didn't wanna hear that.
GILES
I'm afraid we can't do anything about that. She can find us anywhere we go. But in here, we'll be
protected by the anti-violence spell.... I hope.
ANDREW
You hope??
GILES
Well, Willow is not a demon, but maybe the thing that controls her *is*.
DAWN
Suppose it works in her, can she disspell it?
GILES
Yes. I'm afraid so. But I think she needs to recharge her powers. It's the only real reason I can
think of for her not killing us on the Bluff. It gives us time we need to find out how to defeat
the thing that controls Willow... preferably without killing Willow.
KENNEDY *fake smile*
I'm sorry.... I don't think I heard you right.... Did you say, preferably?
GILES
Yes I did.
KENNEDY
So you say you'd kill Willow to defeat this thing?
GILES
Yes, Willow and I talked about a situation like this and.... she made me promise to stop her
from killing anyone..... at all costs.
KENNEDY
No you won't. I'll stop you.
GILES
Willow and I discussed it and we agreed on this
KENNEDY
That was just talk. You're *not* killing her...... none of you. Besides, that was about if she went
evil again... not if she was posessed.
XANDER
Let's argue about this later and try to find a cure or something. I'll get some help.
DAWN
I think I get what kind of 'help' you had in mind. Are you sure this is a good idea?
XANDER
She has a lot of experience with magic and demons and such. She may have valuable information.
DAWN
And she may not.
XANDER
Then at least we tried

Xander arrives at Kate's house. She rings the doorbel and Kate opens the door.
KATE *smiles*
Hey Xander, come in
Xander enters the house but does not walk further than the hallway.
KATE *smiles*
I didn't expect to see you here tonight. I figured Willow gave you a permanent restraining
order for my house.
Xander looks at Kate with a sad stare. The smile on Kate's face instantly disappears.
KATE *serious*
What's wrong?
XANDER
Willow.... she's.... something took control of her.
KATE *laughing*
You're kidding.... Willow? You'll have to do better than that Xander.
Kate looks at Xander who doesn't smile or laugh.
KATE *stops laughing*
You're *not* kidding
XANDER
No I'm not. We could use your help.
KATE *hesitant*
I don't know Xander. You know, it's not like I don't want to help.... but none of your friends
particularly like me. I don't think it's.....
XANDER
They need time. Can you really blame them?
Kate thinks it over for a few seconds.
KATE
Alright, but if Willow comes to kill us, there is nothing *I* can do about it.
XANDER
We all do what we can. No one expects more of you.
Xander and Kate leave Kate's place.

Kate and Xander reach the Magic Box. Everyone looks up from their books as they enter. Giles is behind the counter,
Andrew and Dawn are sitting at the table and Kennedy is sitting on the stairs.
DAWN *to Xander*
So she came..... she know anything useful?
KATE
I'm right here, you know
Xander gives Dawn a pleading look. Dawn sighs and decides to drop the resentment for the moment.
DAWN
Do you know anything that could help us? Do you know what happened?
KATE
Xander told me what he saw and it doesn't ring a bell.....
KENNEDY
Well, that's useful.
KATE
....but Xander told me there was someone burning on the floor.
DAWN
Yes... so? He burned really fast.
KATE
Well... maybe that was it's previous host.... and the old host burned when the host switched bodies.
I've read about that. Maybe if I can see the body I might be able to determine.
ANDREW
Why is everyone ignoring the possibility that there *is* no host?
KATE *to Xander*
What does he mean?
XANDER *to Kate*
He's afraid Willow has gone insane like she did more than one and a half year ago
KATE
Do we have any reason to assume *that* happened?
DAWN

KATE
Then let's assume she's posessed.
Kennedy is satisfied with this proposition. Andrew doesn't know what counterpoint to make here and decides to
follow Kate's plan.
KENNEDY
Okay, she's posessed. What do we do now?
KATE
Let me see the place where it happened.
XANDER
I'll take you
Xander and Kate walk towards the door.
KENNEDY
And what should we do?
KATE
Stupid question. You keep doing what you're doing now.
KATE *to Giles*

KATE *to Giles*
..Giles, do you have Rheinbaums Works?
GILES
Yes, I believe so.
KATE
Try that. It has a whole section about creatures that can posess people.
GILES *smiles*

Xander and Kate leave again.
DAWN

ANDREW
One minute here and she was like Buffy2 with the commanding

Andrew gives Dawn a small smile to let her know he understands.
GILES
At least she was helpful... we can't deny that
Dawn's eyes suddenly open wide and she looks directly at Giles.
DAWN
Do you still have that book with antimagic that we used on Willow before?
GILES
I'm afraid not. That was lost when the store got destroyed.
ANDREW
Lost?
GILES
Yes, we never found it. It was probably burned or something
ANDREW
Is anyone getting the feeling that this prophecy has something to do with all this? Maybe Wesley
translated more about the prophecy.... something that can help us.
GILES
He said he'd call when he found something
KENNEDY

The sun has risen and a new day has begun. The streets are filling with people.
Willow is walking through one of the housing streets until she suddenly stops. She turns towards one of the
houses and rings the doorbell. A man with a briefcase quickly opens the door. It looks like he's about ready to
leave.
MAN
Hello!? Do you know what time it is?
WILLOW
Yes...... I do
The man doesn't seems angry, but quite a bit annoyed.
MAN
What do you want?
WILLOW *cold*
Now *that's* the question, isn't it?
MAN
I don't have time for this. I'm late for work.
The man tries to walk past Willow but Willow swings her arm sideways, hitting the man in the throat. The man
falls down, catching his breath. Willow stands over the man and looks down at him.
WILLOW
*That* was not nice
MAN *scared*
I'm sorry?
WILLOW *smiles*
I can see I have your attention now
The man simply nods with a scared looks on his face. Willow allows the man to stand up. The man is not thinking about
going to work anymore; he is terrified that Willow will kill him. He looks at her carefully, and only now, notices
that her eyes are red.
MAN
Oh my god..... You're..... You're......... No! That's impossible!
WILLOW
And yet you're seeing it with your own eyes
The man seems even more terrified than before.
MAN *scared*
Stay away from me
WILLOW *laughs*
You know I won't....... but I'll make a deal with you.... give me the first section and you can go.
*Or*..... I kill you and I'll find it myself
MAN *scared*
Alright..... It's in my briefcase.
WILLOW *laughs*
You're kidding
Willow grabs the briefcase which fell on the floor when Willow hit the man and opens it. it's easy because the
combination is already set right. She grabs a small transparent object which looks like a part of a crystal ball
and puts it in her pocket.
WILLOW *smiles*
Good. Now.... where are the second and third pieces?
MAN *scared*
I don't know.... I swear
WILLOW *comforting*
It's alright. I can find them myself. I just thought you could speed things up a little.
MAN *scared*

Willow turns away from the man and takes one step away from him. She then stops in her tracks and turns towards the
man again.
WILLOW
Oh, one more thing....
With that, she slams her fist right through the man's chest. She pulls out her fist, which is covered with blood.
The man is dead instantly and falls to the floor.
WILLOW *sighs*
Idiot!
Willow the walks away from the house.

In the temple, Willow and Tara are busy kissing. It doesn't seem like anything has changed since last time.
Suddenly, Willow stops kissing and sits up straight. She looks confused and scared. Tara sits up too and
looks at Willow.
TARA *calm*
What's wrong sweetie?
WILLOW *breaths fast*
I.. I.. I..
TARA *calm*
Calm down Will. Calm down.
Tara's voice seems to have a calming effect on Willow and Willow seems to relax.
TARA *calm*
I something wrong?
WILLOW *a little confused*
I..... I don't know. It feel like something terrible just happened.
TARA *calm*
Nothing happened Willow. You're here.... here with me.
Willow smiles and lies back again. When Willow can't see it, a wicked grin appears on Tara's face, which
disappears again when Tara also lies down again.
TARA *calm*
See? Everything is good.
Tara leans in and starts to kiss Willow again. Willow returns the kiss and all worries disappear.

Xander and Kate arrive at Kingman's Bluff. There, they find the remains of the slain warriors and a burnt corpse.
XANDER
Told you there wasn't much to go on
KATE
Maybe....
Kate sits down next to the burnt pile of flesh and starts digging in the burnt corpse. Xander walks over to one
of the slain warriors; Rakanisu to be exact.
KATE
Well, the bones look human..... This *has* to be a human.
XANDER
So?
KATE *defensive*
Hey, any information was helpfull you said and...... hey!
Kate starts digging even further in the burnt corpse at the chest. When she pulls her hands back, she is holding
a pendant.
KATE
Look at this!
Xander comes closer and immediately backs away, holding his hand in front of his mouth.
XANDER
Oh my god!
KATE *smiles*
Yeah. Interesting, right?
XANDER *disgust*
No, oh my god, how can you stand that smell?
KATE *soft*
Wuss
Xander didn't hear that right
XANDER *inquiring*
Huh?
KATE *to the point*
I said you were a wuss. Now come on.
XANDER
No thank you.... I can see.... and smell.... it from here
KATE
This was *inside* his chest
XANDER
Inside, as in, under his skin?
KATE
Yeah..... weird
Kate digs around in the body some more but she finds nothing more. After that, she and Xander walk past the
three fallen warriors. When they reach Rakanisu, which they come by last, Kate is startled for a second.
XANDER
What's wrong?
KATE *surprised*
I know him..... I worked with him
XANDER
He was a friend of yours?
KATE *quick answer*
No. When you do what I do, you have no friends.... only those you kill, those you don't kill,
and those who help you kill. He was the last.
XANDER
Who was he?
KATE
His name is.... was.... Rakanisu. He is a necromancer which means he can raise the dead....
XANDER
So we saw
KATE
He's a mercenary. He kills for the highest bidder.
XANDER
He won't any more
KATE
No, he won't....... come on, let's go and let those friends of yours have a look at this pendant

At the Magic Box, Dawn, Andrew and Kennedy are busy reading. Giles is just hanging up the phone. After that,
Giles walks back to the rest of the gang.
GILES
My god, I forgot how long-winded Wesley can be
DAWN
Uh.... right?
Giles gets the point and quickly moves on.
GILES
Anyway..... he doesn't know anything new
ANDREW
And you spent half an hour on the phone to figure *that* out?
KENNEDY
Are they coming here?
GILES
No. They have this big evil in LA too.... and besides, I don't think they could do anything
DAWN
We need something more to go on.
Xander and Kate enter the Magic Box.
XANDER
Hey, we found something more to go on
Xander and Kate walk towards the rest of the gang.
DAWN
Oh my god, what's that smell?
Xander points his finger towards Kate.
ANDREW
That's you?
KATE *not angry*
Hey! You try digging through a freshly burnt corpse. See how you smell
DAWN *to Giles*
Isn't there anywhere she could, you know, clear that terrible smell away?
GILES
Well, it's not like there's a shower in here, but there's a sink in the basement and some oils we
have here.
KATE
Shouldn't we be concentrating on what we found?
GILES
Well... what *did* you two find?
Kate takes the amulet out of her pocket. It's still covered with blood.
KATE
We found this in the burnt person's corpse.
KENNEDY
So? Maybe the guy liked to wear jewelry
XANDER
No, you don't get it... we found this *inside* that guy...... it was a guy, by the way
KATE
Yeah, I grabbed it out of his chest
GILES
Why don't you..... clean that up too
Kate walks to the basement. Giles waits until Kate is gone.
GILES *to Xander*
Anything else?
XANDER
Yeah... one small thing. Kate said she knew one of those attackers.
DAWN
And?
XANDER
Nothing we couldn't guess..... mercenary, necromancer
GILES
A name?
XANDER
Rakanimbu or something....... Rakanisu! Yes, that's it.
GILES
Rakanisu? We can work with that.
KENNEDY
How? Xander just said he was a mercenary. He was just hired by someone.
DAWN
Alright, just to summarize what happened...... something wanted Willow's body so it hired three
mercenaries to weaken her and then it took posession of her, burning his old body?
GILES
That sounds accurate
DAWN
So..... how long do you think it's been planning that?
GILES
What are you saying?
DAWN
I'm talking about all those things that happened before..... the dead demon here, the cure for
that poison spell.....
KENNEDY
You think it's been around here that long? That makes no sense, why not go for Willow earlier?
GILES
Maybe it only works at a specific time
DAWN
See, we've found another clue
GILES
But if this thing *gave* us the cure for that poison spell.... that means it's old.... way older
than a human could be.
ANDREW
So that human wasn't the enemy.... it was the last host
XANDER
So let's hit the books and find out what this creature is. I think we have plenty to go on here

Willow is walking through a cemetaries. it doesn't look like Sunnydale. She stops at a small crypt, opens
the door and walks in. Inside, she is greeted by three vampires. They were sleeping and woke up.
VAMPIRE 1
Well well, dinner is served
VAMPIRE 2
More like breakfast
Willow slowly walks towards the vampires. Two of them charge towards her but she effordlessly slams her fists
through their throats with enough force to behead them and make them turn to ashes.
VAMPIRE 1
What are you?
Willow doesn't answer and walks towards the vampire. The vampire now notices Willow's eyes. They are still red, but
are a little less bright than before. The vampire seems a bit frightened.
WILLOW
Now let's see how we're doing with the magic
Willow holds her hands in front of her chest with her palms up.
WILLOW
Tehra estu va ma-al setente a
A glowing ball of light appears in front of the vampire. It's not sunlight because it doesn't harm the
vampire..... yet. Willow stretches her hands towards the vampire and the ball hits the vampire who dusts
immediately on impact.
WILLOW *satisfied*
Excellent!
Willow walks towards a casket in the center of the crypt and violently pushes the heavy lid off it.
She then pulls the corpse out of it and throws it in the corner of the room. She then searches the casket.
After about half a minute, she pulls out a crystal piece that looks a lot like the piece she got before.
WILLOW *smiles*
Jackpot!

Back at the Magic Box, everyone is still busy researching. Kate is there with them so apparently, she cleaned
up. Dawn suddenly looks up from her book.
DAWN
I got something. This demon was imprisoned in an amulet almost 1800 years ago
GILES
What happened with it?
DAWN
It says they threw it in the ocean
GILES
And it could posess people?
DAWN
It had posessed someone and it held control of the host for years.... until the host started
to adjust itself to the creature
Kennedy walks over towards Dawn and takes a look at the picture in Dawn's book. it shows radament how he was when he
got trapped. She seems upset.
KENNEDY
So you're saying that if we don't get that thing out of Willow she'll turn into that?
DAWN
No, that takes years
GILES
And what creature are we talking about?
DAWN
It says Radament
GILES *astounded*
The overlord?
XANDER
You know more than us here, G-man? Spill
GILES
Many, many centuries ago, something walked the earth that was neither demon nor man.
ANDREW
Another hellgod?
GILES
No.... slightly less powerful, but you're thinking in the right direction. Anyway, it had
this big plan to destroy the world but he got stopped.
XANDER
And this big plan.... what was it?
GILES *eyes wide*
It was going to open the hellmouth
ANDREW
How?
GILES
Legend goes that he was looking for a crystal orb that would direct him to the hellmouth.
After he was defeated, the orb was broken in three pieces.
XANDER
Why didn't they just destroy it?
GILES
It was protected with magic
DAWN
So you're saying it's gonna use this orb thing to find the hellmouth? We all know where it is
GILES *smiles*
Yes, but he doesn't know that we know.
XANDER
That brings us to two important questions..... *how* is he going to open the hellmouth after
he finds it?
GILES
That will probably be magic
KENNEDY
*That's* why he wanted Willow!
XANDER
.....and the other question.... I'm afraid to ask.... where are those crystal pieces?
GILES
One is kept by a guardian near the hellmouth, one is buried with a knight in London and one is.....
