WILLPOWER PART 8: THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR

We are at the Magic Box. It sunny outside but that's not easily seen because the place is packed with customers.
Giles has a very stressed look on his face as he stands behind the counter and sees the line grow bigger and bigger.
Some customers ask him questions, but he simply doesn't have time to answer them.
A big sign of relief shows on his face when Willow enters. She walks over to Giles.
GILES *shouts over the noise*
Thank god you are here!
WILLOW
Oh my god. I didn't even know this many people could fit into a small shop like this.
Are you giving stuff away for free or something?
GILES
Well, there were some advertisements....
WILLOW
And you advertised with....?
GILES
Everything 40% off..... for an entire week.
WILLOW *laughs*
You're really in trouble
GILES *snaps out of it*
Just help me clear them out please
WILLOW *smiles*
Ok then
Helps Giles behind the counter. Everything is going a lot faster and in about an hour, the place is a lot emptier.
There are still a number of customers browsing the shelves, but the line in front of the cash-register is gone.
GILES *tired*
I never thought I would miss Anya this much. I really need someone who helps here.
WILLOW
Well, I kinda have to go to college very day... but I can help after classes and during breaks
GILES
Like this time, that would be greatly appreciated, but you also have your watcher studies to
worry about.
WILLOW
No worries, I can handle it.
GILES
I know you can.... but still.... it would be good to have someone around helping constantly.
WILLOW
You mean like Anya?
GILES
...I mean like *beat*... yes, like Anya
Kennedy enters the Magic Box. She takes something from one of the shelves. It's a small bag but we can't see what's
inside. She looks at the price tag.
KENNEDY
Whoa, Giles.. do people actually buy this stuff for this price?
Giles turns his head towards Willow whom he sees is trying desperately not to burst into laughter.
WILLOW *trying not to laugh*
Just like Anya huh?

We are at Xander's place. The doorbell ring and when Xander opens, Willow enters. There is no-one else there.
WILLOW
Hey..
XANDER
Hey Will, what's up?
WILLOW
Up? Why would anything be up?
Xander looks at Willow with a knowing look. Willow looks back at him but Xander keeps up the stare.
Eventually, Xander wins the staring contest.
WILLOW
Okay! Stop with that!
XANDER
Something's up. What's wrong Willow?
WILLOW
I don't know. It's this guy....
XANDER
You mean the guy who...
WILLOW
Yeah.. I keep thinking we're forgetting something. And I keep getting the feeling that he's....
XANDER
Working for something else? Yeah, I got that feeling too.
WILLOW
How come you think he's working for something else?
XANDER
I have no idea.
WILLOW
I already tried to do some research, to find out something about this guy, but I came up with
nothing. Not even a name.
XANDER
Well, at least we stopped him from doing that ritual of... Gore?.
WILLOW
It's Ghior. And.. yes we stopped him from doing that ritual, but that doesn't mean he won't try
something again.
XANDER
And it's pretty obvious he's after you
WILLOW
There must be some way to find out something about him.
XANDER
Well, you could try...
Willow interrupts him.
WILLOW
The coven! Why didn't I think of that before?
XANDER *lying badly*
Yeah, I was just about to say that.
Willow walks over to the phone and starts dialing.

We see Shenk at the cemetary. He is fighting a large group of vampires. It has to be at least half a dozen of them.
He uses both powerfull magic and hand-to-hand combat. He holds his hands into the air and then points them at
one of the vampires.
SHENK
Ssjath!
A large blue bolt blasts from Shenks hands. it hits the vampire who instantly turns into an ice sculpture.
SHENK *mocks*
Now that is art!
He then rushes the ice statue and bashes it into a thousand pieces.
SHENK
Pity
He doesn't get time for another sarcastic comment because the other five charge him. Shenk telepatically pushes them
back. He then makes a move with his hand as if he was throwing an imaginary bowling ball. The ground starts burning in
the line that the imaginary bowling ball would have followed. Four of the five vampires manage to evade it, but one is .
not so fast and quickly turns to ashes. Shenk doesn't wait with casting another spell. He lifts his hands into the sky.
SHENK
An sol dima ho.. tah-na!
The sky turns darker and several bolts of lightning strike down from it. Within five seconds, all four remaining
vampires are dusted.
SHENK *smiles*
I think I'm ready. The witch will die.

Willow, Dawn, Giles and Kennedy are at the Magic Box. Dawn has gotten her grades of the first semester and Giles
is going on and on about how good Dawn is doing. Even Willow seems impressed.
WILLOW
These are good... really good
DAWN *happy*
They are, aren't they
Xander enters and quickly walks towards the back of the magic box where Giles, Dawn and Willow are sitting. He is
holding a newspaper under his arm.
DAWN *happy*
Hey Xander, I have some good news
XANDER *serious*
Well, I have some very bad news
GILES
What kind of bad news?
WILLOW
You found out something about that guy?
XANDER
I guess you could say that.
Xander takes the newspaper from under his arm and holds it in front of him so that the gang can all see the headline:
"Sunnydale teen found murdered"
GILES
Yes, that's bad Xander... but people die all the time. Especially in Sunnydale
Xander starts reading a part of the article out loud.
XANDER
"The body has been identified as Sunnydale's resident Amy Madison."
XANDER
But that's not all. I hacked into the coroner's office and....
DAWN
Wait a minute, you hacked in the coroner's office.
XANDER
Well, I used Willow's computer. And I saw her hack in there so many times that I've started
to memorize how to get in.
XANDER
Anyway.... she died five days ago and all her blood has been drained.
GILES
Good lord!
KENNEDY
So? It's just Amy. Who cares?
Everyone gives her a questioning look.
WILLOW *to Kennedy*
We knew Amy. She tried to help me when I turned into Warren remember?
KENNEDY
You really have no idea
WILLOW
There is something you're not telling me!
KENNEDY
You're right. There is. But is doesn't matter.
WILLOW *serious, but not upset*
kennedy!
KENNEDY
She was the one who cast that spell in the first place.
WILLOW *confused*
She did what? Why?
KENNEDY
Because she hates you.... hated you... for being accepted back in.
Willow is still very confused and quite shocked at this news.
DAWN
Why didn't you tell us?
WILLOW *a little upset*
Why didn't you tell me?
KENNEDY
So you could have done what?
WILLOW *a little upset*
I don't know... but you should have told me.
KENNEDY
I didn't because I....
WILLOW *a little upset*
You were afraid... that I would go after her.
KENNEDY
Yes. And it wouldn't matter wether you would win or lose. It would always end bad.
But that's why I don't care that she is dead.
GILES
You know Amy is a witch?
KENNEDY *hesitant*
Yes
DAWN
And you heard that her blood was drained five days ago?
KENNEDY *hesitant*
Yes
WILLOW *a little upset*
Do the math. That guy finished the ritual with Amy's blood!
Willow walks to the door and walks out. Kennedy stands up to follow her but Xander stops her.
XANDER
Let me talk to her.
Kennedy really doesn't want to but she remains in the Magic Box as Xander goes after Willow. When Xander is outside
the Magic Box, Willow is nowhere to be seen.

Xander arrives in the backyard of the Summers' house. She is sitting on the grass and looking up.
XANDER
I thought I would find you here
WILLOW
Please go Xander
XANDER
I know what you're going through...
WILLOW
Do you?
XANDER
Okay, maybe I don't... but I think you could use someone to talk to.
WILLOW
You know, I expected Kennedy to find me first.
XANDER
She's still at the magic box. I asked her to stay there.
Are you mad at her?
Willow doesn't say a word and starts looking at the sky again. After awhile she speaks again.
WILLOW
I think so
XANDER
You think so?
WILLOW *emotional*
Okay, I am.... You know, I thought I could trust her.
XANDER
And now you feel you can't?
WILLOW
I always thought that she would tell me everything. That we wouldn't have to keep secrets
from each other. But she lied to me for almost a year.
Xander looks at the sky and says nothing for awhile.
XANDER
You should talk to her

Meanwhile, back at the magic box, the phone rings. Giles answeres and the camera shifts to kennedy and Dawn.
KENNEDY *to Dawn*
You think I should have told her?
DAWN
Does it really matter what I think about that?
Kennedy shrugs
DAWN
I would have told her. At least she'd know the truth.
KENNEDY
But what if she went after Amy?
DAWN
Don't you think that's her decision?
Kennedy doesn't know how to answer that and therefore says nothing.
After a short moment, Giles comes back to the table.
GILES
That was someone from the coven. Appearently, Willow asked them to find out what they could
about ou mysterious visitor.
DAWN
And?
GILES
Well, we have a name: Shenk Pathos. He used to be a member of the high council of warlocks.
DAWN
What happened?
GILES
He started killing the other warlocks. We don't know the reason why.
SHENK (O.S.)
I know why
Giles, Dawn and kennedy turn to face the door and see Shenk standing there.
SHENK
So, you've finally managed to figure out who I am. I'm dissapointed in you all.
Shenk walks towards Dawn, Giles and Kennedy. When he stands in the center of the shop, the door opens again and
Willow and Xander step in. They see Shenk stand there and it gets quiet for a moment.
SHENK
What? No sarcastic comment? Anyone?
WILLOW
Get out!
SHENK
Let me think about it....no!
WILLOW
Suit yourself!.... Care Va Dum!
Willow points her hand to Shenk and a bolt of red energy shoots from them and hits Shenk.
Shenk doesn't even seem affected by it.
SHENK
Come on witch. You can do better than that!
Shenk holds his hands into the air and the points his hands at Willow.
SHENK
Ssjath!
Like before, a bolt of blue energy shoots out of Shenks hands and hits Willow. Unlike the vampire, Willow is hurt,
but not frozen.
SHENK
Hey, no fair!
Willow doesn't speak and points her hands at Shenk again and bolts of lightning start shooting out of her hands.
Shenk is hurt a little, but not a lot.
SHENK *mocking*
Ow!
Giles, Kennedy and Xander stand there looking at this. They want to help, but they realize they can't.
SHENK *to Willow*
Time for you to leave!
He mutters something that doesn't sound human and a black cloud appears behind Willow. It seems to pull her in.
Kennedy and Xander al move towards Willow to pull her out of it, because it doesn't seem Willow is very succesfull at it.
Suddenly, the smile on Shenk's face disappears. An arrow is sticking through the front of his head and he drops
dead on the floor.
DAWN *smiling*
I always knew kepping a crossbow here would come in handy, right Xander?... Xander?
Giles, and Dawn look around but Willow, Xander and kennedy are nowhere to be found.
GILES *confused*
This can't be good.
DAWN *upset*
That is kind of obvious Giles!... *beat* Sorry
GILES
We need to find out more about that black cloud. It seemed to be soem sort of portal.
Why don't you use the computer to find out something and I'll check the books.
DAWN
Okay
Dawn grabs the laptop that Willow left behind and starts it up. Giles walks towards one of the book cabinets and
pulls out a couple of books.

Willow, Xander and kennedy suddenly find themselves in an old building. From the inside, it looks old, but clean.
They are in a big room which has the shape of a circle. The room is completely empty. There are four door out of the
room. The four doors all have different colors: red, blue, green and black
KENNEDY
What the hell is this place?
XANDER
Will?
WILLOW
I have no idea

Somewhere in the woods, a portal opens. the light coming out of it is blinding. We can see something coming out of it,
but we can't see much more than a shadow with all the light. Then suddenly, the light goes out as the portal closes
and we see Willow standing there (or something that looks like her). She has her normal red hair, but her eyes are black.
WILLOW?
Finally!

KENNEDY
Maybe we should look what is behind those doors.
WILLOW
I think so, let's check the blue one.
The gang walks towards the blue door. When they get closer, they see a text inscribed above the door.
It says "Halls of the Past"
XANDER
It's English! Well that's..... weird
WILLOW
It's magical. It transforms into the language the reader knows.
XANDER
How can you tell?
WILLOW
I can feel it.
Kennedy runs from door to door and reads the inscriptions above it.
"Halls of the Living", "Halls of the Future", "Halls of the Dead".
XANDER
I don't like the sound of that

Dawn and Giles are very busy at the Magic Box. Giles is reading through an insanely big book while Dawn is busy
typing and clicking on the laptop.
DAWN
You found out anything yet?
GILES
No, we have to keep looking
DAWN
Do you think Willow, Xander and Kennedy are okay?
GILES
I think so. They can all take care of themselves Dawn. They've proven it before.
We will find a way to get them back here.
DAWN
And we will do everything in our power?
GILES
Yes
DAWN
Good.
Dawn then walks to the phone and starts dialing a phonenumber.
DAWN
Hi, it's Dawn... We need your help... Portal... Willow, Xander and Kennedy... That's Willow's
girlfriend... Can you help?... Thanks
Dawn hangs up the phone and walks back to the laptop and going back to research.
GILES
Uh Dawn?
DAWN
Help is on it's way.

We are back with Xander, Willow and Kennedy. Xander and Willow are still standing with the blue door.
kennedy, who has been running around the room, is now at the opposite side of the room.
Suddenly, the blue door opens. Willow and Xander take a step back when they see who it is.
BUFFY *very confused*
