WILLPOWER PART 15: REAL DREAMS

We are in the Summers' room. It's very dark and probably in the middle of the night.
Kennedy is slowly walking down the stairs in her PJs as she sees a very faint green light coming from the living room.
When she enters the living room, she only sees Dawn standing there.
KENNEDY
Dawn, what's wrong?
DAWN
Why would anything be wrong?
KENNEDY
Well, you're standing here in the dark in the middle of the night and I saw a green light
coming from here. Do I need to give more reasons?
DAWN
Everything is the way it is supposed to be.
GLORY (O.S.)
Something wrong honey?
Kennedy turns around and sees Glory standing mere feet away from her. She doesn't know Glory so she's more
surprised than afraid.
KENNEDY
Who are you?
GLORY
The one... who kills you
Glory lunges forwards and grabs Kennedy by the throat. She squeezes and kennedy is unable to move.
She looks back at Dawn for help, but all she sees is a green ball of energy.
Suddenly, Kennedy awakes, breathing heavily. Willow, who is in bed next to her, is already awake.
WILLOW
Are you okay sweetie? Bad dream?
KENNEDY *still a little freaked out*
Yes... and yes
WILLOW
Better get back to sleep.
Willow goes back to sleep and is out within the minute. Kennedy is lying in bed with her eyes wide open.

We are at in very nice room. It is big and looks clean. There are nice paintings hanging on the walls and the carpet
on the floor seems brand new. Glory is sitting on the sofa. She is wearing a light-blue dress. There are three minions
around her that look like the minions Glory used to have before.
MINION1
Have I mentioned how great it is that you're back, oh great Glorificus?
GLORY
Call me Glory.
MINION2
As you wish...Glory. What can we do for you, great one?
GLORY *smiles*
Bring me a brain to eat, and we'll discuss my plans.
GLORY *nice*
Okay?
MINION3
Yes we will, Glorificus.
Glory grabs him by the throat and starts squeezing, but not with too much force.
MINION3 *nearly choking*
Glory! Glory!
Glory lets go of the minion and sits back. She waits for a couple of seconds and none of them move.
GLORY
Now would be good
All the minions smile embarassed and get out of the apartment.

At the Summers' house, Andrew is coming down the stairs. Dawn is sitting on the couch and smiles at him.
ANDREW *sounds weak*
Hey
DAWN *carefully*
Hey.... Are you alright?
ANDREW
Yeah.... that was really weird, but... I think I'm fine, just... dizzy
Andrew walks over to the couch and sits down next to Dawn. He waits for a couple of seconds to loose the dizzyness.
DAWN
I swear I never meant for that to happen.
ANDREW
It's ok. I didn't die, so it's good.
DAWN
Good... Excellent
ANDREW
How'd it go anyway?
DAWN *proud*
It worked like a charm. I just conjured up another Willow to confess and they let Willow go
ANDREW
You can conjure up someone?
DAWN
Well... not really. It's more like an illusion. If any of the guards tried to shake my hand it
wouldn't have worked.
ANDREW
Well, important thing is, it worked.
ANDREW *serious*
Is Mitch okay?
DAWN
A bit freaked out I guess. I don't really understand why.
ANDREW
Well, the whole sucking the energy out of someone does that
DAWN
Well, it's not like I drained him
ANDREW
You didn't. Why did you drain me and not him?
DAWN
I don't know. It just happened.
ANDREW
Other question. I notice you're not on the bed. You feeling better?
DAWN
yes, after I did the spell, I felt a lot better. Not perfect, but better.
ANDREW
That didn't have anything to do with you draining me, did it?
DAWN
It probably did.
ANDREW *smiles*
So, how healed are you?
DAWN
I really should stay away from the fighting and all for a few more days, but other than that, good.
ANDREW
Feel like taking a walk?
DAWN
Actually, I do. I've been lying on my back for way too long. I'm out of shape and I've probably
gained a lot of pounds by doing nothing.... Do I look fat?
ANDREW
No, you look great. Come on.
Andrew and Dawn walk out of the house. As they turn left after exiting the house, Mitch walks towards the house
from the right. He sees them walking away and he doesn't look very happy. He turns around and walks back the way he came.

We're back at Glory's place. She seems satisfied with the brain she sucked.
GLORY
That's so much better. Now, back to business!
MINION1
What can we do, divine one?
GLORY
You can shut up and let me talk!
*Silence*
GLORY *calm and getting more upset during the rant*
Good. Now, last time I was here, little Miss Buffy and her pals attacked me. They just attacked
me, took away my key and killed Ben. Now what I want, is to kill them all, starting with her.
MINION1
If I might speak, great one. Buffy is no longer in Sunnydale.
GLORY *angry*
Then find her, you idiots! Do whatever you must but find her!
GLORY *calm*
But in the mean time, I think I can have some fun with the others. Are they still here?
MINION2
Yes they are, great one.
GLORY
Good. I think I'll pay them a visit
Glory stands up and walks out of the door.

Glory arrives at the Summers' house and rings the doorbell. She is visibly unpleased when it seems that no-one is home.
GLORY *dissapointed*
They're not here. How rude!
Glory bashes the door down and attempts to walk through the door, but she is stopped by a force field.
GLORY *surprised*
What the...
Glory begins slamming her fist against the barrier but it doesn't help. We can see her face revealing that she is getting
more and more upset.
GLORY *upset*
Alright then, I'll do it another way
Glory walks away from the house.

We're at the Magic Box. Kennedy is helping Giles with cleaning up the place. The place is still closed due to the
unfortunate incident with Willow yesterday. Giles is in the basement, filing some stuff, while Kennedy is working
at reorganising a cabinet with books. Then, Glory enters.
KENNEDY
Oh, I'm sorry but we're closed. You'll have to........
Kennedy looks up and sees the same person from her dreams there.
KENNEDY
Do I know you from somewhere?
GLORY
No, you don't... Where's the owner, that Giles guy?
KENNEDY
He's in the basement
GLORY
Be a doll and get him for me.
Kennedy realizes this woman won't leave before she saw Giles.
KENNEDY
Alright.
Kennedy walks to the basement door, openes it and talks through the door.
KENNEDY
Giles! Someone here to see you?
GILES
Alright, hold on a moment.
Kennedy turns away from the door and seconds later, we hear footsteps coming up the stairs. He opens the door and
sees Glory standing there. His jaw drops in shock.
GLORY
What's a matter? You not happy to see me?
GILES
Get out!
GLORY
Or what? You'll kill me again? I don't see little miss Buffy walking around.
KENNEDY
I thought he told you to get out.
Glory now gets upset. She walks over to Kennedy and aims her fist for Kennedy's face. She is immediately thrown back.
Glory hits a cabinet of oils and powders when thrown back. The oils and powders spill on her dress.
GLORY *more upset*
Look what you did to my dress!
Glory attacks Kennedy again, but again, she is thrown back against the same cabinet.
Giles looks stunned that Willow's spell managed to stop Glory.
GLORY
What is it with you people and barriers all of a sudden? What is this, and anti-violence spell?
KENNEDY
In a way.
Kennedy steps forwards and hits Glory in the face as hard as she can. Glory doesn't even blink and Kennedy holds
her fist in pain.
KENNEDY
Ooow!
GLORY *smiles, then gets serious*
We'll save this for another time princess.
Glory steps out of the store. Giles immediately picks up the phone and starts calling. He holds the phone to his ear
about half a minute before putting it down.
GILES
They're out. Kennedy, do you know where Andrew and Dawn are?
KENNEDY
Dawn is kinda bed-bound. I doubt she could have gone far.
GILES
Right. You go there then and tell them to come here.
KENNEDY
Who was that?
GILES
I'll explain later. I have to call Willow and then Xander right away and you need to get Dawn
and Andrew.

Kennedy arrives at the Summers' place and sees the door bashed in. She goes inside in a hurry. She doesn't see Dawn
or Andrew anywhere. She looks at the bed Dawn was in and finds it empty.
KENNEDY
Oh my god.
Kennedy practically lunges for the phone and starts dialing.
KENNEDY
Giles! We've got a problem. They're not here....... I don't know.....
Suddenly, the front door opens and Dawn and Andrew walk in; happily chatting.
KENNEDY *relaxes a little*
Never mind, they're just coming in..... Yeah, we'll be on our way
DAWN
What's the matter?
KENNEDY
We gotta get to the Magic Box now
DAWN *shouts*
Kennedy!
KENNEDY
I don't know okay! Giles said he would explain later. Now come on!
Without any more protests, Kennedy, Dawn and Andrew leave.

When Kennedy, Dawn and Andrew enter the Magic Box, Willow, Xander and Giles are already there. They all have a worried
look on their face. They then realize that Dawn came walking in.
XANDER
Dawn, you're up?!
DAWN
Excellent observation Columbo
WILLOW *pleasantly surprised*
How'd that happen?
DAWN
Draining Andrew here had some uh... side effects
ANDREW
Just don't expect me to be your personal life-force container everytime you are wounded
DAWN *smiles*

DAWN *very serious now*
So, what's going on?
GILES
We had a visitor today.... Glory
The look on Dawn's face is a mix of fear, surprise and disbelief.
DAWN
What?......I mean WHAT?
ANDREW
He said Glory came by....*to Giles* Who's Glory?
KENNEDY
That was kinda my next question
WILLOW
Glory was someone we killed more than two years ago.
DAWN
She's a hellgod.... very powerful
KENNEDY
But you defeated her!
WILLOW
Buffy did. And only with some very specific items.
KENNEDY
So you weren't overreacting when you panicked?
GILES
I'm afraid not
DAWN
So, Giles... what do we do? How do we stop her?
GILES
I don't know
XANDER
How come she didn't kill you Giles?
GILES
Willow's anti-violence spell protected us
WILLOW
What? That only works against demons, not against a hellgod!

Glory is at her place with the three minions around her.
GLORY
What the hell is going on?
MINION2
It would appear that using a vampire to bring you back had it's flaws. Part of it became part of you.
GLORY *angry*
Say WHAT? A part of me became... vampire?
MINION1
That is true, oh great Glorificus
GLORY
Well, do something! Get it out!
MINION2
We do not know how
Glory stands up and holds her face only inces from the minion's face
GLORY *angry*
You'd better find a way!
She then walks away; out of the room.

Dawn is sitting in a corner of the Magic Box, reading a book. Andrew sits down next to her.
ANDREW
So.....
DAWN
So.. what?
ANDREW
What's the deal with this Glory. You're like Skywalker when he found out Vader was his father.
DAWN
Did you just compare me to a Star Wars character?
ANDREW
I'm just saying you seem to be very surprised..... not to mention scared. What'd she do?
DAWN
Last time Glory was here, she needed The Key to get to her home dimension.
ANDREW
So?
DAWN
So, I'm the key! Last time, Glory tried to bleed me dry to get home
ANDREW
And you're afraid she's gonna try again?
DAWN *looks at Andrew*
Yes
ANDREW
It worked out last time didn't it?
DAWN
Well, Buffy isn't here now
ANDREW
Can't Willow just zap her
DAWN
Didn't do much good last time
Mitch enters the Magic Box and is visibly unpleased with Andrew and Dawn sitting together in a corner. He quickly changes
his expression though. We can see Xander noticed it.
MITCH *overly happy*
So, you're all here.
Dawn stadns up and walks over to Mitch.
DAWN
Hi
She gives him a hug.
MITCH
I see you're up and around again.
DAWN
Yeah, I have to thank Andrew for that
MITCH
What's up?
GILES
We have a new enemy to worry about.
MITCH
So, Willow, what are you waiting for? Kick his ass!
WILLOW
It's a she, and..... kicking her ass is not that easy.
MITCH
Why not?
WILLOW
Because she's a hellgod
MITCH
........
XANDER
That was pretty much my reaction when I got that news
MITCH
So, you guys need any help?
GILES
We could always use a hand. Why don't you check those book for any references on hellgods or
resurrection spells.
MITCH
Resurrection spells? Why's that?
GILES
Because we killed her two years ago.
MITCH
I see.... this just keeps getting weirder
Mitch walks off to the pile of books Giles pointed at and starts reading.
XANDER *to Willow*
Uh, Will.... maybe it's not a bad idea to cast this anti-violence thingy at our houses
GILES
I agree, Willow, you should do that first
WILLOW
I still don't understand how this barrier stopped Glory, but I'll do it
Willow stands up and leaves the Magic Box.

It's night. Willow, Andrew, Kennedy, Xander and Dawn are at the Summers' place. Giles just left and Willow and
Kennedy are moving upstairs to go to bed.
ANDREW *to Willow*
So, you covered all out houses
WILLOW *tired*
Yeah, we're good
Willow and Kennedy enter their room. We can hear the door closing upstairs.
ANDREW
You coming Xander?
XANDER
You go ahead, I need to talk to Dawn for a second.
ANDREW
You sure this hellgod won't attack me when I'm alone?
XANDER
She doesn't know you Andrew.
ANDREW
Ok then, bye Dawn
DAWN
Bye
Andrew goes outside.
DAWN
So... what's up?
XANDER
With me?... nothing. This is about you
DAWN
Hey, I'm dealing with the whole Glory thing. Not easy, but I'll manage
XANDER
I'm not talking about that.
DAWN
Oh, what *are* you talking about then?
XANDER
Tell me the truth. Are you and Andrew a couple?
DAWN *surprised*

XANDER
I think Mitch seems to think so.... So, are you?
DAWN
Mitch told you?
XANDER
No he didn't and you're avoiding the question
DAWN

XANDER
maybe you should talk to Mitch. I can't blame him for thinking it. You and Andrew seem pretty
close lately.
DAWN

XANDER

It's day, the sun is shining brightly in the Summers' house. Dawn is walking down the stairs and sees a big white light
coming from the living room. She walks downstairs and enters the living room, but when she steps in, the light is gone.
In the room, she sees Andrew standing. He has a worried look on his face.
DAWN
What's wrong?
ANDREW
Why would something be wrong?
DAWN
Because of that look on your face. What's wrong?
ANDREW
Nothing. Everything is the way it's supposed to be.
MITCH (O.S.)
You got that right! Stay the hell away from her!
Mitch appears between Andrew and Dawn and grabs Andrew by the neck and starts squeezing. Andrew makes it very clear he
can't breathe.
ANDREW *choking*
Dawn!
Dawn raises her hand and hits Mitch hard on his head. Mitch falls to the ground. Andrew collapes also, holding his
throat in pain.
ANDREW *catching his breath*
Thank you. I knew I could count on you.
DAWN
You're welcome. You're very welcome.
With that Dawn leans down and kisses Andrew and the lips.
In both their seperate rooms, Andrew and Dawn wake up with a start; eyes opened wide.
