Dugan had been minding his own business and milling about the spaceport when a giant wolf-type creature bolted past him, knocking Dugan to the ground. The beast seemed out of place, even for a spaceport. Dugan took it upon himself to find out why an apparently wild beast would be roaming a constructed object far from any place capable of supporting wildlife.

"I'll meet you back at the Yamato-4, if not sooner," he shouted to Avon.

The wolf ran for several blocks as Dugan did everything he could to keep up. Finally, the wolf slid to a stop and began eating from a dumpster. Dugan hung back and watched the creature with interest.
