(OOC: Sorry if this seems rushed, but I only have a few minutes and I won't be back on until late tonight...soooooo....)

As Locke and some of the others walked up, Virgil started to explain to Sang what he saw in the alley, when he heard a huffing noise behind him. He turned to see a large, furry shape hop into the Dumpster he'd just gotten out of, with Dugan in hot pursuit.

"Friend of yours?" he asked Dugan. Virgil hadn't gotten a good ook at the furry creature, and so just dismissed it as an ordinary stray dog.

Then they heard more beeping from the debbris aroind them--and it started to vanish, piece by piece.

"They're covering their tracks--how're we going to find them if...bingo." He grinned as a plan popped into his head. "Calenderi, front and center!"

The little dragon flapped free of Virgil's pack, hovering in front of him. "What is it now?"

Virgil took the tracking device out of Sang's hands and held it in front of the dragon. "Hold this."

The dragon wrapped the thin, prehensile scythe-tail around it. "And what am I supposed to do with--"

She was cut-off midsentence as the device vanished in a blinding flash of light--taking Calenderi with it.

"WOOHOO!! It worked!" Virgil then called out telepathically. "Calenderi, can you hear me?"

"YOU COULD HAVE WARNED ME ABOUT THAT, SMALL HUMAN!!" she snapped in response. Finsing herself in unfamiliar surroundings, she instinctively ducked into a dark corner. "And where in the nine hells am I?!"

Virgil locked on to the signal--a little faint, but detectable. "Don't worry, I've got your location--we're on our way. Just lay low and keep that beak of yours shut for once and you'll be fine." Then he turned to the others. "C'mon--I'll explain on the way..."
