Kholas muttered an apology about running into Dugan, though he was still grumbling about being followed. He then started eyeing a garbage dumpster hungrily, apparently haven forgotten that he was a human at the moment.

As soon as explosives were mentioned, Kholas took a few nervous steps back, sniffed at the air, and covered his ears, eyes and nose as best he could. When no immediate explosion followed, he cautiosly glanced around, confused. Shrugging off his near-total incomprehension, Kholas crouched down, still wary, near the cover provided by several dented trash cans.
