Apples to Oranges to Grapes, sometimes its good to compare to learn about our chosen breeds. Throw a ball for a Great Pyrenees, it will assume, if you wanted it, you wouldn't have thrown it away. Hand the ball to a Pyr, it will lay down with it between its paws and protect it. Hand the Pyr a lamb or a kitten, it will do the same. The Pyr will seem lazy, laying around or slowly walking untill called on. It conserves energy. Left in the fields with sheep for weeks, it had to hunt for itself. They eat very little. They also had to know if a stranger was good or bad. My male backed and held a man, 3 weeks later, he broke in the neighbors house. Otherwise, people come to visit, and he guards them. Call a Pyr, they may even come to you. Get in your vehicle, it will go to the front to be hooked up to pull, this one drives me crazy.
