Ed, thank you for the refresher on the old theory of how Demodex is spread. Some vets believe it, some don't. It won't explain how my pups contracted the ailment. If things hadn't occurred exactly the way I said they did I would not have posted anything. I certainly didn't have to say anything about my experience.
I have never bred a bitch showing any signs of demodex or one that previously produced a litter full of demodex puppies.
I go by what I see, not what some book tells me, especially if the information in the book simply doesn't answer the questions.
Now, in 5 or 10 years we'll see how my dogs are and how your breeding program is going. That will be fine with me.
