Subject: Re: Mrs. United States: Are you kidding? I was in it a few years ago, and unless it has changed DRAMATICALLY, those contestants were lucky if they FED them, let alone TELEVISED that god-awful, rinky dink pageant!!

I competed in the MRS. United States pageant, too. Loved the other delegates but it was POORLY run, the director is CHEAP, won't spend a DIME on anything- (one year, many years ago a delegate got sick and wasn't able to compete, and the director made her roommate pay for half of the hotel bill, because she had a room of her own!!!!!)
and there were a lot of questions (and they still continue) about the outcome being not quite so fair.... Don't waste your time, ladies!
