Hey Perry I know this is a little late for a reply, I don't mess with this thing much. Hawk was a good natured dog with manners to spare around the kennel. Spud bred him to every female he could. Wendy, Lu-Lu, and several others he owned. I bred Lizzie back to Hawk 2 times and only got 1 pup that wasn't albino. A man in Texas took the white pups to hunt. I should have bred Lizzie to Bobbie each time, would of had all keepers. I hunted with most of the dogs listed in the replies that were around home. Barney was a another son of Hawk that didn't get bred to enough. Spud Rimbey and Hawk produced a bunch of good country coondogs you could relie on every night of the week. Spud stopped hunting Hawk when he saw what kind of offspring he produced. Terry Meritt has dog by Blackie and Hanna about 9 years old now. He should be a natural at making treedogs, I don't think anyone has bred to him. Mike said if you want to try Roy again that would be fine. The only thing I could see wrong with the dogs I hunted with was I didn't own them! Hawk bred dogs are worth feeding. See ya latter, Dave>>>>>>>>>Anyone ever hunt with him??
