Candy, I have 3 chihuahuas, which I'm told are great companions to Great Danes, as they think they are big dogs anyway. I also have a Boxer named Spike, who also is a Momma's boy. He snores and farts, so is like having my EX still here, only better as there is unconditional love and he lets me watch whatever I want on TV, always excited to see me. I had another, Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix who had 2 puppies on Halloween with Spike, but unfortunately she got run over by a car when the pups were only 17 days old. I had to try to nurse them with puppy formula, which they didn't like, and finally a friend who had a Rottweiller who had just weaned 10 6 week old puppies, helped out and loved them as her own until they were old enough to wean and come back home. We adopted one out, but kept the other so far. My chihuahas are named Tinkerbell, Sophie and Coco-Puff.
