Just found out they are sending my oldest so back overseas in his job (not to a good place like London or Paris but a combat zone). But at least for not as long this time, he should be back by his 32nd birthday. I'll probably have that many more gray hairs by then.

My 19-year-old is also struggling up in Alaska after losing his father. Can't find a job and not sure he is going to even be able to continue with college. He sounded so down and depressed when I talked to him last.

Please keep them in your prayers.

Other three kiddos are fine. My only daughter is due with the second grandbaby in February!

Well, today is the last day at work for the holidays and I am burned out!!! I will continue to write from home. Lurk, how are you? I know its really cold in West Virginia as it is everywhere. It feels like January, I am wearing so many clothes that its really hard for me to get around. I really need a wheelchair accessible van but like every one else, I cannot afford one.

Our Soap,,,, it seems like with all the Soaps, pregnancy is popping up everywhere, it seems like when the writer dont know what to do, they have someone ending up pregnant. Angie, Madison and who ever they run into a writer block dealing with, have them get pregnant. the other soaps are the same too.

Jake and Amanda are having problems too, not enough about Calen and his son, I can see that they will stretch this story out for some time and Erica, Erica is making me a little nauseous now,the brother and sister duo, it doesnt sound exciting they are boring.. What the hell, MERRY CHRISTMAS FAMILY, I'LL WRITE YOU GUYS FROM HOME COMPUTER

Does anyone know if David is dying again or going to be staying in PV? We do need our resident villian, and if he died, Erica would be in a pickle. But then, when I was watching the scenes with Angie, I thought what if his "timely" death meant maybe Angie getting sight again through eye transplants. That would be hard for them, too, having David's eyes, every time Jesse looked at her, he would see David's eyes, etc., but it would give her back her sight for her baby. But I admire the storyline that people with a disability can still achieve and excel, and can overcome fears and insecurities.

And I am beginning to think Madison is truly a dumb blond. Not only not using birth control, but she's pregnant and single, so.....she quits her job. Geeze! So, Welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, WIC?

I was so tired of the Kara/Jake flashbacks. Yawn! And Annie - grow up!

Loved the talk between Kendall and Tad and the way the writers actually used the history of the show and tied it in with Dixie.

The Memorial Service was a real tribute, and a tearjerker. Wonderful walk down memory lane.

And the side storyline of Caleb telling Asher about his mother and her death. Quite tender.

I don't mean to be caddy, but I actually watched this episode twice, once on ABC, and once on Soapnet and I must say - Really - Marissa - Rocker gloves? What is with that? With a short-sleeved mini-dress? I don't know the etiquette for wearing such, but you'd think it was to keep warm, right? And the dress just didn't cut it with that thought. I personally would LOVE to have those, though. I work at home, typing, and in the AM, my hands can be cold in the winter. Those would be perfect!! But I'm not wearing a short-sleeved short length dress! (OK, I'm usually in my PJ's and a robe, double socks, rubbing my poor arthritic fingers to get them to work).

Erica's brown dress - another fashion HUH? It looked like the shoulder was ripped on one side - really? At least there was no huge zipper showing!

And Bianca, bless her heart, wish I had her figure, but those jeans sure didn't do anything for her butt! Sorry! But then, jeans never do anything for my butt either.

Have to say - Annie rocked what she was wearing, though.

A sheet!! LOL.

And cudos to Colby for keeping her eyes on Asher's. I couldn't have done that. In fact, my eyes kept roaming. Those gray shorts, hmmm.

Like Damon's new haircut. He looks quite the professional. He cleans up very nice.

Hey to all my AMC friends. It's been a long time since I've posted, but to be honest I haven't been that impressed with our soap. Until Zack's death. Alicia (Kendall) has done a wonderful job with her grief. Several times I've been brought to tears watching her! The passion and sadness and anger have been so good. She will win the soap award for this preformance. I love the sea scene with her and Greenlee. Oh heck, I really wanted her to slap the *##/ out of her! But instead she sobbed, it sound so real. (I'm sure we've all experienced it in real time :*(

so how is everyone doing?

They need utilize past history and storylines to bring Petey back to join forces with Caleb against JR. I used to think waaaaay back in the day when Petey and Colby were about 6-7 or so, that they would end up together, making a "Hatfield-McCoy" kind of fued between the Chandlers and Cortlandts.

Besides rewriting history, the writers conveniently forget some history, IMHO.

Well, if Asher and Colby get closer and any more kissie-face, the truth will probably have to come out about Adam and Asher's mother, that Caleb is trying to hide. Could it be that Adam is really Asher's Daddy? And Caleb will have to nip it in the bud before there are incestual relations.

Where in the H#?? was Adam 20 years ago anyway? Jog my memory, please as I can't remember the order of all the wives. Was he fighting with Dixie and Tad over custody of a young JR? Was he married to Erica at that time? Arguing with Arlene? Having troubles with Hayley and controlling her? Was he pursuing buying a sperm bank so he could trick Liza into getting pregnant? Wasn't he supposed to have had a fling with someone on a business trip that resulted in a kid (a could be donor for JR?), which never turned up. But running off with Caleb's wife? When did he have time to do that?

Yes, pretty convenient to be able to rewrite history. If only I could be so lucky!

Boy, I see a lots of folks on SOAPNET voicing their opion that they are no longer watching AMC because of RYASS and GREENPEE as they call it, they are tired of the couple and they do not want Erica with Caleb and thinks that everything else of boring and that the new doctor does nothing for replacing ZACK........ I agree, he aint ZACK and I am tire of RYASS and GREENPEA too, we had to give up a lots for them to stay in Pine Valley. And they say that Madison is pregnant with RYASS'S baby

Well,Lurt, I can tell you I thought for sure my man Jackson was going to get shot today - thank goodness I was wrong. That was 2 shockers in a row for me - I never expected to see Erica with the gun in her hand! Is David going to make it??? Or will there be another funeral and maybe a reappearance someday. Tad did a nice job today;I've always loved him. Madison pregnant. That's actually something I didn't see coming and WON'T be happy about. That would make 3 kids and 3 different baby mommas for him - NONE of which is Greenlee.Gotta keep saying it - I LOVE Greenlee and Ryan. Together. I really like the new Bianca - much better than the old. Stay tuned...........

A very happy holiday to all my friends.Well, I darn near dropped my drawers the other day when David walked into the courtroom - what a shocker!And not much on AMC has shocked me in a long time!If they can bring him back Dixie should be cake to do the same with. There will never be anyone for Tad but Dixiebelle. I see real trouble on the horizon for Ryan and Greenlee - David has gone over the edge and I think he will be the new Annie.Yes, he and Liza;perfect for each other. I don't like the closeness Krystal is showing Jack. They are together way too often of late and the same with Caleb and Erica.Obviously the new doc will be someone for Kendall but I still predict she'll get her claws into Ryan somehow - PLEASE don't go the grief sex routine again!Is Cara going to cause problems for Jake and Amanda? I thinks so. Can't wait til this Hubbard baby is born - hope all goes well. Pine Valley court is SOOOOOOOOOOOO far from reality it's a real stretch to imagine anything that takes place there as anything other than one of the characters daydreams. Sure, all judges would listen to all those outpourings of hate and simply watch David's daughter go up and slap him in the face.If we are expected to believe this stuff surely they can make us believe Dixie came back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving with friends and family but save some energy for Black Friday! It has been a tradition for me and my daughter since she was young and her cousins always slept over Thanksgiving night and then we all traipsed to the mall for mad shopping the next day.I'll never forget the day my neice was starting to grow into a young lady and insisted on wearing 5 inch heels - she sat that one out for most of the day on a bench! They grow so quickly - enjoy the memories now while you can.

In keeping Obama's "Rose and Thorn" - what are your's?

My Rose was probably seeing a son graduating from high school this year. Tender moments.

Thorn was he went off to Alaska (from Texas) to go to college. That was hard putting him on that plane. And even worse, his Dad, who he was to live with, died last month so he is all alone up in Alaska trying to make it on his own and go to college.

Another thorn was the passing of Rosebud.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! Cherish those you love, LAUGH out loud A LOT, feel the breeze and sun on your face and appreciate all the little things in life!!

Just goes to show, I guess the PV judicial system just isn't up to par when it convicts an innocent woman for murdering someone who is still alive.

Mighty fishy, lame. Even with the coroner paid off. I guess an autopsy really wasn't done.

I really hope they do something to David for fraud. Surely, he can't get away with just community service! When a human being goes to that much deception just because he didn't like the relationship between his wife and Ex, he really needs to be sent to a mental institution for some serious help!

Well as contracts go, they will not find the body so incase he can return, they have an opening.

Didnt Greenlee and Ryan find that witness really fast??? It was no sooner than a peak outside the cave and Whammo, he was there!!! and surprisingly, Ryan got him taped in a confession.

i think the writers know that we dont want to be bogged down with the mechanics of them running in and out of the cave so they just dug a hole and snatched him out of the next scene... how convenient....

Lurt, you are truly someone to look up to.Having lost a son myself 5 years ago I can't begin to imagine how devistating losing your only child is. I have another son,Shawn,40 who lives in Mississippi now but is looking to move back home within 3-5 years.I have my 26 year old daughter,Sabrina and a son-in-law Paul.She is the light of my life. Hoping for grandchildren soon but they're in no hurry as they enjoy traveling and being together.I live in Mass. and have been in my home (yup, FINALLY,mine and not the bank's)for 33 years.I have 2 Great Danes and have had 2 litters of puppies;16 in all.Mom is Zsa Zsa;such a lady and dad is Rambo - such a Marley!Got him an Angel costume to wear for Halloween because he is SOOOO unangelic but he had to wear the pink tutu I got for Zsa Zsa because it wouldn't fit her and the angel did.He's full of love but just loves to be different.I used to breed German Shepards and had a massive pure black one,Mariah(before Mariah Carey was ever heard of) that was one of the best dogs I've ever known.My vet raises champion Boxers and actually did a Pedigree commercial years back. He also has the only canine semen bank on the east coast so I'm going to be storing Rambo's soon if anyone knows of anyone needing a Dane stud with phenominal champions in his line.Been married twice.Last time was 22 years ago. I may not have learned the first time but the second drove it home - I am a TERRIBLE judge of character. So, rather than making another mistake I gave up! I've got my dogs - what more do I need!Been watching AMC since the start.That old episode was something the other day,wasn't it?

Caleb really played that scene yesterday with giving an account of what took place at the West Virginia Coal Mine when his wife Sophia came to tell him about her pregnancy and was killed AFTER he delivered the baby,

He had tears in his eyes and actually weeped openly. Great Acting, And Erica was there ...eating it up!!!
And now her passions grows to comfort him, yeah right!! If Jack goes back to her after his upcoming separation soon to happen... I wil never have respect for him as a man again!!!

I'm not that big of a Damon fan, but gotta say - since he has been Liza's assistant, dressing in a suit and tie - he's looking better - not like Sheila-La says - like Frankenstein!

About time Ryan planted one on Greenlee. They are skirting around their feelings for each other for far too long. I know some of you do NOT want all the old Greenleen/Ryan drama and them getting together and running the show. But hey, they already do that anyway.

I'm really thinking with all the Chandler drama going on with the company, do you think Adam might make an appearance for a couple of weeks at one point? With the company in jeopardy, Scott in jail, etc., shouldn't the KING return to straighten things out or at least put his 10 cents (or 1 millon) in?

I really like the dynamics going on between Liza and Damon right now.

I guess just when he gets on Liza's good side, Asher will make his play for Colby and Damon will be history, or at least a lot of intense drama.

And of course, Asher doesn't have the real story about his dad, probably. There is always more to it, and he's probably just assumed the worst.

I like Krystal/Caleb dynamics, but I also like Krystal/Jack dynamics too. Same can be said with Erica.

L Libby - I agree slow storylines. Just wait until Jack and Erica get back (you can take that either way, speeding things up or slowing it down even more). JR and Annie just need to get it on hot and heavy already, every chance they get. Just keep it a secret long as you can. Great opportunity with Scott in Europe! And I sooo agree about Caleb. I'm sure a fan of HIM!! Plenty of great potential storylines - fire with loss of loved one, all fatherly with Marissa, (Krystal there for the Mama figure), and Asher. Asher...ashes.. Then when Erica gets back, there will be drama there, too. Especially with Bianca and the girls living at Wildwind. Caleb is fatherly with them, too. Erica and Krystal have a history..

Sheila-La!! I'm with you about Kendall!! I still like what Candy's nickname is, tho, dumb brunett blond!! And Marissa - that girl just needs to get a makeover from "How Do I Look" on the Style Channel!!

Hello all, I am really frustrated with the show, there were time when we use to just comment on the actors but NOW, it all points to just BAD script writing....
It seems like no one knows anything and the story can be written by a few 3rd graders.
I have friend that will be joining us name "Pat" and she had a question about CALEB..

HOW is CALEB related to Palmer?????? I never heard any mention of Palmer having a sister or brother.... Does anyone know how Caleb is relaed to Palmer????

OK, writers...we've lost too many key players. David was SOOO good at being bad - he will be missed. Since there was an autopsy he will have to stay dead. I have not had interest in watching this whole scene with David dying because it makes no sense for Greenlee and everyone else except Jesse to be so moved by David dying. I mean actually crying as if he meant something. With the fighting and knock down drag out fights and now that he is dead, everyone except TAD, JESSE and 2 or three others are moved to somber and tears... hypocrites!!!!!

Before everything gets all serious - Dahlings, we need to have a fashion police!

Madison - What was that? Kleenex glue-gunned all down the front of her dress? She had the Snookie look going on pretty well, except her hair was definitely two different colors between the fake and the real. Not the way to wear your weaves, dahling.

Angie - a beautiful pregnant woman. Empire gown was appropriate, hair was good. But leave the hoops to playing pool on Saturday night at the bar.

Greenlee - very pretty, "breathtaking" as David said. Its very hard to wear a white dress and not come off wedding-like. Jewelry and hair perfect. This is on my Best Dressed list until she puts on the black poodle puffs on her shoulders. How many poodles were killed for that one? Geeze?

Bianca - Flapper girl. What can I say? I liked it, but felt guilty becuase I liked it.

Krystal - The white dress off the shoulder was dynamite. But instead of that hugh plastic see-through belt that looked a little Dominatrix-like, maybe something more subtle? And that Boa - really - I know you have to pick and choose where to wear those things - can't just go grocery shopping with a boa around your neck, but really? Give that thing to Opal!

Opal - speaking of which - OMG - Did she foresee a Saloon Girl/Floozy in her closet?? She came right over from the re-shooting of Gunsmoke right? The new Miss Kitty? She even had the feather in the hair! Just recast David Canary as Marshall Dillon this time instead of Candy! I'm sorry, but Opal, you were my worst dressed nominee. And of course, that is keeping with the PV tradition. We would have expected nothing less from you at one of these shin-digs!

Liza - animal print....ok....I guess literally now she has her claws out. I enjoy a good animal print, but reminded me of the Flintstones and Betty Rubble for some reason. The hair and jewelry were great!

Colby - age appropriate (though I think that may be where Opal stole the feather), but would have preferred a long gown. But overall good.

Kendall - Very beautiful dress, but played it down a little bit. Maybe if her hair had been upswept, it would have called more attention to the dress. Probably on my best dressed list. Only thing, its good they put the scar in or the fans would be calling foul. But I think if I had a scar like that, I would either cover it with the dress or jewelry. Just a beautiful diamond drop necklace, or actually jewely with a splash of color, would have given it the WoW factor.

MEN - Tad and Caleb easily tied as Best Dressed Men for me. When Tad was beside Opal, he looked like Rhett Butler. David looked like a waiter (maybe better to show off blood). Ryan - nice but boring, predictable. Jesse - all black, sleek, good. Frankie - WTF? Unkempt, and just not doing it for me. Asher - No stripes, please! Put a string tie on him like a Cowboy and team him up in the saloon with Opal. Would have matched Angie's outfit. Just not doing it for me. JR at the last minute - may be a contender for best dressed, rivaling Tad. He really looked quite dapper!

I'm loving this guy more and more. Now if I was in my 20's, maybe not, but as a mature woman (won't say my age...OK - I'm half a century) He is HOT.

Who would have thought such a crochety, grumpy character was such a softie - the way he was with Miranda!!Was Sonya a child he lost maybe? He has just endeared himself even MORE to me, if that was possible! And I'm sure ALL the Kane women are in his corner now. And he'll be in Angie's court if it ever comes to her losing her doctor's license. He will definitely defend and vouch for her.

And I have to say - Ryan getting a call from a phone soliciter. How funny and refreshing! A dose of real reality! I work from home and must get calls daily from someone trying to sell something.

Anyway, I think my honeypie, Tad, and my cougar tendencies with Ryan, have been replaced with Caleb. Who knew?

Remember when Adam was looking for his son by a woman in Texsas or california, a woman whom he had a brief relationship with and produced a son? Well I noticed yesterday when Damon asked the new kid if he knew the Chandlers and he said "nope". The way that I came to this conclusion was that when JR needed the transplant and Adam tried to located the son with TAD to meet him at the airport, he never showed up. ADAM asked the mother told that he left town saying he was coming that way, he never showed up and now he is in PV. This could be the son???Maybe....

I read in one Soapnet web sites that the reason as to why so we are seeing so many repeats of last weeks previous adays repeated was because of budget cuts, I read that wwe are going tro see less of Erica on a daily basis as well as others favorites who they spend many days shooting and the storylines will be spread out more because of length of time focused on one character

I guess I don't really care who Caleb ends up with. He's just a great addition to the show!! With the drama of him coming back into the world and fighting for his company against JR. He has good chemistry with both Krystal and Erica.

I always said Scott and Marisa made more sense as a match. Was that payback? It doesn't seem like she was too upset that she had done the same thing to JR that he did to her.

And at least I would have made the bed instead of leaving it looking like someone just rolled in the hay. Not that I've been in that position before (HAHA)- just saying. But it didn't look like JR noticed that anyway. My Ex sure would have made something out of that no matter what.

And David and his warped views of love and marriage. OMG. And Liza actually being the one giving sane advice for once. I still thing they deserve each other. I don't think he could control and blackmail Liza like everyone else he "loves." Could be a challenge for Dr. Diablo.

Okay, Kendal is coming back today but she is bringing STUPIDITY back with her, Of course we miss her beautiul face and honestly, I miss her husband,,, but I have NOT been longing for her stupidilty and hair brained actions showing that she was NOT thinking, SO, the average person who is glad for the return of Kendal will have to admit, they want her back for the clothes and looks and not for her earth shattering ability to have brains.......

Well, I can say that for the past few days, I have watched Caleb and he has made me interested in the soap again. I miss the days when Palmer and Adam would go at it with corporated take overs and it gave life to PV. and for the past few years, the only thing we have seen is kissy face her and there with no action, All of the other soaps have activity and AMC has pretend sex and romance going no-where. There are not kidnappings or people locked up in the psych ward, no double characters being married or coming back from the dead or nothing like that as if I would perfer that but anything but this run a round Jack, Annie, TAD stuff . Caleb kind of tickles my fancy too, he is sort of sexy in the mature man kind of way. (but I still love David too)

Yes, show has been a bit boring of late. All the sniping that they have had Caleb doing at Erica was getting soooo lame. But finally they are showing the actual chemistry between the two, and it could be pretty exciting.

As far as chemistry, JR and Annie definitely have more chemistry than JR and Marissa.

And I'm thinking Greenlee doesn't want to be the love of David's life. Duh! She had Leo and Ryan.

I see they've recycled some apartments - Angie and Jesse seem to have Jack's old apartment that he shared with Lilly and Reggie, and Frankie has one that Maggie used to have?

And OMG - Was wardrobe for Ryan off a day?? The light blue shirt looked way to short for those tan pans. What is he - the Good Humor man? And if he had raised his arms up, his belly button would have shown!!

And I just had to say this about Bachelorette/Bachelor. Boy, did Ali dodge a bullet!! I'm glad she bowed out before she and Jake got together!

And back to AMC - Mayor Blanco reminds me of Sophia Loren.

I really love how they still have Palmer on the show!! Being honored and remembered! But Marisa and Annie fighting - Priceless!! (I'm still waiting for the catfight between the two - must need to hire a choreographer) But them knocking over his plaque, and fixing it with nail glue and gum. How funny!! LMAO!!

And ONLY Erica can turn something such as Krystal showing support to Jack hunting for Erica and Krystal telling Erica how much Jack loves Erica, only for Erica to throw it in her face later, sniping about Krystal hanging around Jack like she has ulterior motives. Couldn't she have just accepted and valued it for what it is worth? Nooo, not Erica. Is she really that insecure - or conceited? Oh, that's right, it's Erica's world.

I actually cried (though not much) with the reading of the will and Opal, her finding the engagement ring and knowing PC wanted to marry her again. Very touching.

Hopefully Petey will one day return to PV.

Wow - Erica just finally gives up the Fusion fight and finds another major company, Courtlandt Electronics, landing in her lap! We can all only be that lucky, the financial moguls that we are!! And thrown together with Caleb, relative previously totally unheard of, of course. Palmer leaves a business to someone trying to avoid the outside world - yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Or maybe PC is trying to play matchmaker from the grave - see what magic can be worked by throwing the two of them together? Maybe Caleb was previously a business whiz?

So Caleb is a nephew? Was he Lottie's?? I guess we'll find out soon what the relationship is.

And will JR and the beach house bring up some more Dixie moments?? Maybe her ghost is residing there?

Kudos bringing Bianca back. Maybe she and her kids will stay for a while.

Actually, Nu-Bianca is doing really good. They matched her up with looks and such, and the mannerisms are similar. I actually hope she stays for a while in PV. After all, there have been several different Biancas over the years.
We've also had several JR's, several Colby's.

There are a lot of replacements that have been wonderfully accepted despite loving the old actors - Opal - loved the first one but love, love, love Opal now. Liked the first Kendall - Buffy the Vampire Slayer - but accepted and loved the second, who looks so much like a young Erica. They've had so many Jakes, I've lost count. A couple of Frankie's. Never did like any Dixie replacement, or the one they tried to pull on us that turned out to be a cousin. A couple of Dell's.

They gave us a new Janet one time, explained by a facial reconstruction procedure,so she could fool Trevor, but the next time she came back, she had her old face so what was that about?? But the interim actress for Janet played her really good, too. I didn't like the new Natalie they tried to give us though, a long time ago, the one that went blind and died.

Have loved both Ruths.

But some people you just can't image replacing. Like Brooke, Adam, Erica, Jack, Tad, Ryan.

Wonder if they would ever bring a LEO back? After all, they never found the body!! I doubt Josh Duhumel would do it now though, he's pretty big now after Vegas and Transformers.

OK, - I'm rambling. Need to get a life.....

OK - too much drama between the Erica/Jack and Greenlee relationship. Will always be friction. Jack will always be in the middle having to pick sides. Been there, done that, but now it is even worse. She probably will be mad he didn't give her a heads up about the launch.

Erica should get with Caleb. We've been given a peek about this mysterious man. Has to be a reason.

Jack and Krystal.

Greenlee needs to see the light and get rid of controlling David.

David and Liza. Both of the same species - lizards and snakes.

Tad and ??? I'm still thinking Hillary should come back to PV because of Damon and her really horrific relationship with her crap-a$$ husband. Liza and Tad just have no chemistry. And in reference to old and new - I like the new Liza, but I am still trying to get used to her. The old Liza was just....well....our bad/good Liza.

And should Greenlee get with Ryan again??? I'm actually not rooting for that. But I'm sure not a fan of the Greenlee/David match. (And I hear not too many of you liked the substitute Greenlee, or did you?)

OMG. I absolutely CANNOT STAND Paul!! What kind of a father hates a toddler?? And is so relieved when he finds out he is not his son??? I guess him and Liza will join forces now.

I've seen that side. My second husband and my two kids from my first marriage didn't get along. It made for a very rough time on my kids and we walked on eggshells much of the time, and I ended up sending them to live with their father because of emotional abuse they suffered at the hands of the stepfather. Actually, then he treated the three sons we had together then like stepchildren. I should have gotten out of that much sooner than I did.

Which comes to my most favorite part of the show - when Madison had to eat crow and come back and ask Ryan to change her tire!! Been there!! Don't need men to save the day - I'm on my own - I am woman and can do anything. But mine was plumbing problems. Please, no jokes about tending to pipes.

And I have been stranded a couple of times due to vehicle problems.

Anyway, again, it just appalled me the way Paul reacted to learning that Damon wasn't his son. What an awful character. Too bad there are people really like that out in the world!

With Angie having dizziness, fatigue and blurred vision, it makes me think of something like diabetes or MS. They've had diabetes storyline in the past with Nina.

I think Jack and Krystal make a good couple.

And the new Bianca - what can I say??? We always revolt and love the originals best, huh? AMC fans are loyal like that. In the old, olden days, they used to announce before the first scene of the character, "So and so is now being played by ----" At least we kinda had a warning, even though it was a deep voice out of nowhere.

Hey Sammi, how blessed you are to still have 2 at home!Your son will be fine. He will indeed remember what he has been taught.My daughter(now26)did a college semester in NYC and I was worried sick but would rather have had her get the "sex and the city"- the show out- of her system rahter than seeing her married and feeling as if she missed an experience she really wanted to try. It made her appreciate our small little still fairly countrified town more.She was the baby in the family by 13 years and spoiled rotten but she still did fine.Yours will too.And believe me he will miss you and appreciate you more!
Sorry to say I do like Madison with Ryan but want him and Greenlee together WAY more.The mountain madness is getting ridiculous. Love that show, too! And I must say I liked Amanda's wedding gown! And the vows and wedding were actually nice. Jake is so hilarious. Can't be a funny guy in the sexy department!

Wasn't thrilled with Greenlee's little black dress - OK from the front, but when she turned around, the fluff on the sides just made her look weird sticking out in front and that big ol' zipper. Again, I guess its the craze these days. Go figure.

Dear Friend, I work with all of the students coming from far and Near and believe me. You taught him well, there are timew when you didnt think he was listening to you but he was. I the majority of time when I am speaking with students they always repeat what there mother told them, they dont forget really they dont, and this is apparently your baby and OH God, a crown Prince, i tell the young men who are youngest in birth order, no matter how old you get and how much hair grows on your face, and what color it is,,,your parents will always see you wrapped up in a blanket or a crawler with lamb ears on it.

Liza is such a sleeze!!! Thank goodness Tad knocked on the door!

And also noted - Jake and David - Jake telling David he's not going to buy into his crap anymore. All David's smirks and comments. I wanted to reach through the TV and slap him myself! Jake had restraint both physically and emotionally.

On a personal note - I'm putting my 18-year-old son on an airplane Saturday and he's flying from Dallas to Seattle, and then on to Anchorage, Alaska for college. Over 3000 miles. I don't think he has ever been farther away than 50 miles from me in his life. I'm joyous and happy, but a little sad, too.

I have 2 older kids, 31 and 29, one of whom was actually a Marine for 5 years and served over in Iraq and was even there as a civilian worker after the Marines. And it's not like an empty nest syndrome - I have a 16 and 15 year old sons still at home.

I just hope I have instilled in him enough. Enough skills to survive. Enough values to do what is right in the world. How to do his own laundry. How to budget so that he can live within his budget and not starve. How to treat women.

And I may not see him for a long, long time. Thank goodness for email!

Just wanted to share.
