[> Subject: I know,if you give to the salvation army, you can get a tx credit of 75.00 per bag, any bag, make sure they give you a receipt also, housewares too. With the world & country the way it is, it seems as if donated items would really be sought now a days, but i learned that if they are going to be sent to another country, the cost of postage is more expensive than the items, many organizations do not take items, churches have pantries that take donations but you know, some folks are so funny that they wont accept donations from pantries or organziationations, and Lord knows we can all use a little help. I think about so many people with children, many children and they dont want clothes or other items unless they are brand New, then the fashion industry take faded jeans & have made billions, I remember, if a child had a pair of jeans that werent ironed yes ironed & full of color, they didnt want to go to school, we dont know any thing any more,, Baily needs to be popped in the Lip!!
