Hi Everyone-

Something I have noticed about Emma...this actress is 7???? I looked it up on google and that what it says, she just looks and acts about 5. I used to teach first grade (ages 6-7) and she just does not seem to act that age at all. Does anyone else think this??? I know its probably hard because she has to remember the lines that they are feeding her, but I just think everything with her seems SO forced.

[> Subject: I'm not real sure what point you're making. She turned 7 on July 13, but what age is her character? We know she goes to school (somedays) but I don't think we know what grade. I think she's wonderful as Emma and I think she has a very difficult role. It doesn't seem forced at all to me.

[> Subject: Well, I'll try to do a better job explaining my point. What I meant was I cant believe Emma (the actress) is 7. Ive taught first grade for a while and all the girls in my classes were just a lot more mature. And by that, I mean the way they spoke more than anything. (Not as babyish) I would have guessed the actress was really 5 playing a 7 year old. She is cute as a button don't get me wrong- but I think the other kids do a better job acting wise.

[> Subject: Hi Elizabeth - I am glad you brought up Emma.... I too, think she is adorable but her acting does seem 'forced'. I assumed she was younger as well... However, I guess the brass has a lot of faith in her cause she's in a big story right now.... Anyway, my favorite little ones on the show are the ones playing Little A and Kathy.... JMO

[> Subject: Me too!!! Little A is awesome and Kathy does a terrific job acting. When the writers had her go sort of 'dark' for a bit, she really gave me the creeps-I thought she did a great job with that story line!! Thank goodness they have her back to normal now though. She has a great personality!!
