I was so mad watching that dammed the Daytime Emmy Awards show that it would have been better had I not watched it.

Why was Oprah given so much time and praise and AMC with 40 yrs of investment sparsely given any time for details?

Sure, they acknowledged Susan as they should and to make matters worst, they gave the young actress award to the old Marissa (can remember her name) who we (family on this board) definitely talked her off the cast line up because she was not fitting to the role.

I think it was a lots of stuff going on in the Corporate Office. I notice when Wayne Brady mentioned the end of AMC and the camera's showed the faces of the cast; there was no facial expressions shown.

NEXT, I have never been on the Oprah ban wagon because as an African American woman, I grew up knowing women like Oprah all of my life her personna was nothing new to me I highly respect her and her accommplishments BUT, AMC had contributed so much to the fans for generations and it was apparent that there were bad feelings.

I can at least say that over the years, Hellmuth looks a little better and Susans daugther really looks like her in the details of her face but bottom line is All, I WAS VERY DISAPPONTED AT THE AWARD SHOW!!!

[> Subject: Thanks for being our AMC Entertainment Reporter covering the Daytime Emmys! I didn't watch except for when Debbie and Darnell were presenting the award to writers, of which every single show was nominated it seemed like except AMC. So I thought, "That sucks," and let my fingers do the walking with the remote.

[> Subject: Well, I haven't commented on the show b/c I thought I'd get on a roll and not stop. Here's my opinion: the WORST awards show - ever! I think Susan Lucci should have been pissed with the terrible "tribute" and the graphics they used looked like a 2nd. grader did them. And, Oprah, I was never a big fan, but you should have shown up for this "big" award. I went to a taping of her show and she is the epitome of "Diva." She lost an eyelash and the entire production stopped until they found glue (from an audience member) to fix it. Oh My. And it was like a telethon, also. I have no problem with recognizing all that Daytime tv does, but if I had taped it, between the interminable commercials, useless tributes and fund -raising, I could have watched the show in about an hour.

[> Subject: Amen Yall, ABC network is really F*U* I am really pissed off. I wish Agnes Nixon had rights to see the rights of AMC to sell it to another network, it is a shame for the talent and the industry of AMC to be lost forever, just a shame. There are thousands if not millions of fans who are supportive of the show. We dont respect anything of value like other countries who respect their history . Society turns a deaf ear to listen to you if you dont have acne. We don't respect for anyone older than 35. Look at us. a group of women from all parts of the US who are different in every way you could imagine and yet,,, we have come together with a passion for something we truly believe in and communication, We dont always agree but we keep the lines open and continue to TALK. thats the stuff keeps this world alive; the ability to communicate. All from the gift that an imaginary town like Pine Valley and its residence . I will never forgive ABC!!!
