You are so right. I've been yelling at the screen, telling David that the tornado killed Babe. Actually, lifting the beam off of her injured leg let her bleed to extensively that her organs shut down. She made the choice to have the beam lifted to save her son. It's so funny that David is so upset and wanting revenge for Babe's death when she couldn't stand him when she was alive. She chose the Chandlers over him again and again.
