Liza,
your right. Kids teeth don't have roots, however, the dentist told me that's what it was. A baby root canal, it is called a pulpotomy. Same thing really, but different name since kids don't have roots. Her cavity was so bad it went clear to the nerve. Don't get me wrong, she goes to the dentist every 6 months, no fail, however, her old dentist thought she would loss that tooth before it got this bad, but she didn't. She brushes 4 times a day. Once after every meal, and snack, so when I found out she had cavities I was horrified. The dentist says, with some people it doesn't matter how much you brush your teeth, there still gonna get them, she must be one of those kind. I have never had a cavity, neither has her dad, but my mom is one of those who gets them no matter what, she must have gotten it from her.
She went to school today, and she was sooooooooo happy to have a new white tooth. Her friends asked her allllllll the time, if she knew she had a cavity, and she got really sick of it. Now she goes back on the 16th to have 2 more filled, simple ones though, they are just surface cavities, then back again on the 24th to do the other 2...then she is done!!
